I think this team would be comparable to Lithuania. A bunch of shooters and not a lot of defense and athletes. Heinrich and Šarūnas Jasikevičius would have a battle!!! I would love to see that.

I think 4th place in the Olympics is a good spot for them. I don't think this team can beat with argentina(too good), spain(too atheletic), greece(too strong) or the United States Redeem Team(to dominant). But they'll match up well with Lithuania.

I picked Doc Rivers becuase he is the most qualified coach besides coach K of course. THIS YEAR. He just won an NBA championship. It's about white players not coaches. Plus it's has an ironic humor to it.

        Ooof. Larry Bird, my friend.

I don't think it would be tough to make a very good all-white team, but the players would all be from Europe.

and how many african and asian teams play in the olympics? 2

that means if team USA (white players) are group A with a african or asian team they will win 1 game and wont make it to the quarter finals

btw, brent barry is too old.

J-Kidd mixed??????????? man that dude is clearly caucasian

White kids in America are largely in the suburbs and too spoiled or diversified in their sports to make the type of impact they used to. I see it all the time. They are playing tennis, soccer, baseball or worse, video games. Plus, there's skateboarding and a host of X-Games type sports. I see few white kids just playing hoops all the time like in the past. Now, black kids in the city? Totally different story.

it would be too hard to get the 4th spot, losing a close game in the quarter-finals is good achievement for this team IMO

Why Doc is the most qualified coach? i dont think he is.
he might be qualified but not the most qualified

Kevin Love was only a freshman at UCLA last year. Tyler was a junior. Thats got to be a 2 year difference right there.

A very slow team, but with good shooting.

Argentina is 1-1 against Lithuania in Beijing. And Argentina played probably its best game against Greece, but almost lost. Moreover, in last big tournament Greece ended above Argentina.

In other words. Greece, Argentina and Lithuania are more or less on the same level.

Spain is a bit better though ATM.

Larry Bird is pound for pound the greatest American White Player in the history of the NBA.

But right now i don't think Adam Morrison is capable of matching his amazing feat because Bird is a winner since he was in College.

Even though they are many GREAT white basketball players (Dirk, Nash, Gasol, Kirelinko, Rudy Fernandez, etc..) none come from the United States. I'm not sure why but there aren't that many good American born white players these days. White players are being imported. Team USA consist of all African American Players during the past three Olympics as it should have because of talent.. Where are the GREAT white American players at? Swimming? Baseball? All of the ones that did great in college did not do GREAT in the pros or even FIBA overseas... The key word is GREAT!!!

I know this seems to be about race but this is not about any race being superior than others or inferior or whatever.. because all of us know that there is not one race or ethnicity is superior in this game. It's about team work, playing, skills, etc. So PLEASE DO NOT turn this into something racist. It's not about that... I think it would be fun to see opinions on how this team would do or fair in the Olympics against other countries. Will these guys make Larry Bird proud???

Keep it basketball talk.. Strenght Weakness or whatever! How would they do against the countries etc..

Oh by the way they took a lost when Chris Kaman got naturalized by Germany! So he was replaced by Kevin Love!

                              PG. Heinrich, Kirk (c)#12

                              Head Coach: Doc Rivers
Assistant Coach: Avery Johnson, Mike Woodson
I think Spain and Argentina could beat this team. no offense meant.

Tyler Hansbrough would be lucky if he can stay in the league playing 10 mpg in a crappy team.
BTW no one give a chance to Przybilla? Yea, he's american.
