  • Laker's Worst Nightmare!!!!!

Who do you think might be the worst or toughest matchup in the first rnd for the lakers?

Figuring that we'll most likely finish in the top 3.

we'll most likely face these 5 teams. Houston, Dallas, Golden state, Denver, Phoenix.

I think the worst matchup might be Dallas. THey have lost 3 straight, but by the way they played us last sunday. We'll need to be on top of our game. Plus they have the best chance out of all these teams to take us to 7.

Phoenix would be a tough matchup too. Amare always plays well in the playoffs. He would own either bynum if he can come back or Gasol. We have to remember Gasol has never done well in the playoffs. Plus Nash is gonna run **** this could go to 7 also.

I think Houston will start to slow down after a while. Plus T-Mac has never won in the playoffs.

Denver just isnt good enough to match up with us

Golden State could be tough too, they run up and down the court all day long. Plus you never know how well or poor baron davis will play.

Warriors only can win against Mavs Rockets is red hot. I wish Suns would meet Lakers again.

Well, for me, Warriors, as they're the joker team, with no center nor PF... just running.

Suns are much better for Lakers now as they slow down since Shaq is here. look, Amare keeps scoring, but they lose.

I think the Spurs are the nightmare team for anybody. They've been so good recently (although I think they lost yesterday). They can shoot and play defense against anybody. I still like Denver as a team in the West too. Not to win, but I think they can do some damage. They've got plenty of weapons and plenty of interior defense, but they just can't seem to win. And Dallas, well, I think they could beat LA in a series, because they'll be ready come play-off time.
"I really like the attitudes of eagles. They never give up. When they grab a fish or something else, they never let it go. It doesn't matter. In a book, they write they find a skeleton of [an] eagle and there is no fish. It means that the fish beat him and killed him, but he didn't let go." -- Donatas Motiejunas

The Warriors can be a completely random team... wouldn't like to play them.

I think Warriors is the nightmare for whoever will be the Top 1 in the west specially in the first round. That's why Coach Avery and his Dallas learned their lesson well. Making sure they are not the top seed (they are 7th placed now). Hehehe.

Warriors play best when pitted againts a best team, but play luckluster Bball when play againts weaker teams. Dont you notice?
