Vince Carter isn't leader, never was and never will be. Till now Kidd was the leader, now i expect Jefferson to take over. Players such as Carter can never be leaders, he cares only about his own statistics and money. I've never seen him encouraging his teammates, he doesn't have emotions.
Said that, yes he can reach 20.000 points because of his ego, not because he's that good. NJN will never go deep in playoffs until their main option is Carter.
