Both are rising stars in the NBA beside the fact that the 2 of them almost look almost identical in the looks department.

Rondo is the better defensive player, and a natural PG for the Celtics, he does not have the burden to score plenty of points because he is the Celtics 4th scoring option, but i think in his prime he can definitely become the next Gary Payton or Dennis Johnson because i have seen the kid has some talent, and he is already learning from his veteran teammates.
2007-08 NBA Stats
Rajon Rondo
9.4 PPG, 5.4 APG, 3.30 RPG, 1.7 SPG, 0.8 BPG

He is one of the best shooters in the NBA, and some NBA analyst compare him to a prime BJ Armstrong, who is one of the key players during the Chicago Bulls first 3 peat during the 1990's. Armstrong is also a one time NBA ALL Star after being selected to represent the Chicago Bulls in the 1994 NBA ALL STAR Game.
I think Gibson is the better offensive player because he is such an effective player during crunch time, and he can literally shoot the lights out of any team in the NBA.
His main weakness is he is not really a natural PG, and Gibson defense is not that impressive ,but so far in the early part of the season he is really proving to the doubters that he is not just a one hit wonder..
2007-08 NBA Stats ( Updated Stats)
Daniel Gibson
13.1 PPG, 3.2 APG, 2.8 RPG, 1.06 SPG, 0.50 BPG
Both players would be an NBA ALL STAR in the near future but i will probably give the slight edge to Gibson because he has proven time after time that he can really perform in the most important game of the season, and he is one of the best 3 points shooter in the NBA.

Daniel Gibson was the star of Game 6 of the 2007 Eastern Conference finals against the Detroit Pistons. Gibson's superb performance — career high 31 points (19 in the 4th quarter) on 7 of 9 field goals, 5 of 5 from the three point range, 6 rebounds and 2 assists — was reminiscent of team-mate LeBron James' dominating performance in Game 5 of the series. Gibson's 31 points were the most by a rookie in a series-clinching win since Magic Johnson led the Lakers with 42 points to clinch the championship in the 1980 NBA Finals.
