  • Who will be the better Player Amir Johnson or Dorell Wright??

    Air Wright

Amir Johnson and Dorell Wright are two of the rising star in the NBA and next season. They will be having a lot of playing time since they are groom to become the next superstar of their team.

Amir Johnson might actually turned into a poor man's version of Kevin Garnett but i still think of him as a Darius Miles type of player. Miles when not on the injured lists is one of the most productive player in the NBA. Just remember his 1st few game with the Portland Trailblazers before his injury and he is almost averaging about 22 PPG.

Wright might actually turns out to become the better players between the two because he was actually a very explosive scorer in High School. Dorell has that athletic ability that makes coaches give him some playing time on the floor. His super quick first step allows him to blaze by almost any defender with almost no effort. Dorell has a nice looking shot that is effective from anywhere on the floor. It is a matter of time if Coach Riley will utilize his skills next season.

    High School stats

    23.7 PPG, 10.7 RPG, 4.3 BPG, 2.9 SPG 87 Games

    Amir Johnson F #25

    Height: 6'9"
    Weight: 210

Best Case: A smaller Kevin Garnett
    Worst Case: Jonathan Bender

Scouting Report: Amir is an explosive athlete and despite having power forward height his athletisism rivals the most athletic swingmen. Instead of sitting ob the bench Amir asked to be sent down to the NBDL so he could get playing time and ended up dominating that league. He seems like a stat sheet stuffer. He can be a great scorer, an elite rebounder and a dominant shot blocker. With his athletisism and skill he should become a good passer too. There are rumors that he has grown to 6'11".

    Dorell Wright G/F #1

    Height: 6'9"
    Weight: 205

    Best Case: Rashard Lewis
    Worst Case: Darius Miles

Scouting Report: A very interesting player because he came into the league as a 6'7" guard but has now grown to 6'9" and obviously the guard skills haven't gone anywhere so he could be a very dangerous player. He has great athletisism and he is developing his skills well. Playing with Wade and Shaq should get him a lot of shots and he showed some potential early last season. He likely will spend most of his time at SF but he could even see some time at PF. Dorell Wright is a pretty good passer and Pat Riley seems to have confidence in him.

I will say Amir but I am not sure.
