I agree, and there are too many Spanish teams, but I believe many of the choices have to do with sheer business (the game in London is a clear sign of it).

I don't know why the NBA didn't line up the Bulls to play in London. With 2 players with British passports in Gordon and Deng, if the NBA wants to generate real interest from the U.K. that would be the way to do it.

          Yeah good point.
It will sure be interesting to see Pau (if he continues with the Grizzlies that is), Garba, Bargnani, Calderón & Co playing against European teams, or perhaps I should say Euro vs Euro in the Raptors' case

Looks weak. Nba teams playing Uleb teams even eurocup. None of these teams are Euroleague elite. No maccabi, tau, cska and pao. Rather than having a top game between two elite teams the nba chose to play weaker less competative competition. It's hard to like the nba with crap like this. As a fan of basketball I feel cheated.
Alrighty then! Take care now, bye bye then.

LAS VEGAS, Feb. 17, 2007 – The NBA will return for its second year of NBA Europe Live presented by EA SPORTS™ this Fall when the Boston Celtics, Memphis Grizzlies, Minnesota Timberwolves and Toronto Raptors will conduct training camps and play exhibition games in six European cites in four countries, it was announced today by NBA Commissioner David Stern.

After the 2007 NBA Europe Live, NBA teams will have played 41 games in 15 cities throughout Europe over the past two decades. The inaugural NBA Europe Live drew more than 36 million viewers, 115,000 spectators, and 18 marketing partners in October 2006.

Wow afwul selection-only one superstar in KG. No near AI3, Nash and TD.
And why Efes wants to play with NBA team do they want to get spanked by 100 points?

I can understand Toronto in Italy and the Grizzlies in Spain with their international flare, but why Boston and Minnesota, who has a combined one european player on their rosters (Marko Jaric with Minnesota, who could get traded by the end of the year).

                        3 spanish teams
where is Panathinaikos, Olympiakos, CSKA?... at least Efes was chosen, eventhough i can't trust euroleague enough to believe that Efes was their idea
has Jordi again been threatened with death, or is his primary philosophy to develope the game in Spain- he can say so in that case

no cska, no greek teams no barcelona, no maccabi...efes was probably chosen because they lost 2 the warriors by 30!
remember what happened when cska played against the clippers...stern is maybe afraid that this would happen again...and he doesn't dare 2 send the heat the mavericks(wouldn't it b a good idea if the mavs played in germany?) or the spurs in their pre-season against a top european team...

Stern can take his Europe tour and shuv it up his a$$. Put some elite Euro teams in there.
Why can't the two finalist participate in the Europe live tour like last year?

The European press should criticise this.
