Bulls before Jordan in 1983-1984 was 27-55 crap team

So what rookie must take bad lotery team and make it championship right away or it takes 3-4 year process to rebuild to become good team ?

I dont remember Lebron or Giannis comming as rookies and sending their crappy lotery teams anywhere either first few years

You are not allowed to say or point out anything deemed disparaging or in the slightest negative about Michael Jordan. The Jordan mafia in the media and the fan boys won’t allow it, Just bow your head and be quiet. For some of us who saw his entire career in real time and don’t have to rely on narratives and YouTube clips, those of us who have the proper context and are not blinded by fan boy gushing we know that he was not perfect and had many flaws that we can point out. It does not mean he wasn’t the greatest player at all time if you compare peak/prime years vs others but despite would others would have you believe the subject can be debated.

The biggest break he got in his era was that the greatest perimeter defender in history was on his team. Scottie PIppen by all accounts was that and it isn’t really debatable. Scottie Pippen has constantly been underrated over the years as an obvious attempt by the Jordan fans to diminish him while simultaneously making Jordan look even better. Pippen was the best facilitator on that team not Jordan and the obviously the best defender who took on the responsibility of guarding the other teams best perimeter threat, Scottie Pippen was the difference. He is what put those Bulls teams over the top.

In 1994 when Jordan left and humiliated himself attempting to play another sport. Pippen led that Bulls team to 55 wins.
But what people don’t remember is how close and it took a really bad break to keep them from potentially winning the championship. Tied 2-2 against the potential Eastern conference champ Knicks he was called for one of the lamest must absurd fouls that led to his team losing and going down 3-2. It was an obvious makeup call for the previous year and the infamous Charles Smith no call in game 5 of Eastern Conference Final. Bulls would have been heavy favorites against Indiana and would have been a toss up against the Rockets in the Finals. How would Jordan have been looked at had that occurred ? He really got lucky there.
