Mejri back to the Mavs on a one year minimum deal. Good move. He's a solid backup five, as we all know. Roughly $25 million on a strong Center rotation. Not bad at all.

Him behind DeAndre? Now that'll be fun for Mavs fans.

      Especially with Doncic throwing lobs.

So, do you think the Thunder will try to part ways with Carmelo because of the luxury tax?

Honestly I'm not sure they can. It's hard to see him accepting a buyout that's anywhere near cheap enough to help them get a much lower tax bill. Just seems like it could get ugly if they go that route even though it makes perfect sense for him to join another team on a much cheaper deal.

KCP back to LA. That's really weak to me. He's a young dude. He should be out making his mark, not chasing rings. That's what I thought until I saw it was for $12 million, at least. Can't hate on that after a so-so year that didn't earn him any real money elsewhere on the open market.

This should seriously help the market for guys like Tyreke, Lance, etc. Definitely James Ennis.

Which in turn should help guys like Looney and Vonleh get theirs.

Aaron Gordon back to the Magic, and Elfrid Payton to New Orleans.

How many point guards are the Pelicans gonna bring in? Damn.

Lance and JaVale to the Lakers. No shame, clearly.

For all of this talk about a poor market, the only team that was expected to have major cap room that has actually acted on it so far are the Lakers. Everybody else who has made moves is either right around the cap or had less than $20 million in room.

                That's a huge market.

I think a change of the enviroment could do him good. He still has limitations, but overall in my opinion now that he aclimated to the league, could make a surprise there.

I think Hezonja has massive potential but was completely mishandled by an Orlando team who is so desperate for Aaron Gordon to be the superstar he'll never be that they sacrificed the development of every other young player on the roster since drafting him.

I have read a lot of simmilar opinions through the last year, that Orlando wasn't exactly the best destination for him. Generaly in this season he did perform notably better and has showed some glimpses of why he was picked as high.

I remember Aaron Gordon completely dominating one o the summer leagues probably 2 years ago. To be honest, I expected him to kind of become the head of the franchise after those performances, but obviusly it didn't work out.

Aaron Gordon is nothing but an athlete who it took three years in the league to develop any kind of real offensive game while being put in every position to do so from day one. No different than Blake or Brandon Ingram of the Lakers. Rondae Hollis-Jefferson was Arizona's best player every year he was there but instead of developing a kid who could've been the next Penny Hardaway, they focused entirely on low upside forwards who wouldn't be half as highly regarded if not ranked so high in high school. They even let bum ass TJ McConnell dominate the ball over him.

Nerlens to OKC on a two year deal, while Derrick Favors returns to Utah on a two year deal.

The teams with real money other than the Lakers are still sitting pretty. That's insane. I don't even know the last time so many players either re-upped or signed with teams right near the cap. There is so much money out there and only a small number of big free agents left.

I'm hoping Tyreke goes to the Hornets. Him and Kemba on the same team would be amazing, and he'd probably come off the bench surrounded by guys like Monk and Kaminsky whose shooting perfectly complements his penetrating style. Either that or maybe the Thunder, where he would be a huge upgrade over Felton.

Oh forgot to mention Collison had his option picked up by Indiana. No brainer imo.

Suns also waived Alan Williams. Kind of shocked. He is a beast down low who can stroke it from deep. Similar to Omari Spellman.

Anthony Tolliver to Minnesota on a one year deal worth $5-6 million.

Bjelica is now an unrestricted free agent. He should get some serious interest from a lot of teams given his size and ability.

Calderon to Detroit on a one year deal worth I believe about $4 million or so. Excellent move for a team clearly looking to develop young point guards behind him.
