  • Bulls sign Diamond Stone to a partially guaranteed two year deal. Didn't even know Atlanta waived him. Terrible decision by the Hawks.

    • According to Woj, Boris Diaw is coming home to sign a 1 year deal with Paris Levallois. His contract includes an NBA opt-out and an EL opt-out.

Saw Sportando mention that around lunchtime. Makes sense. He would have had trouble cracking an NBA rotation imo. Plus he can help grow the game over there even at his advanced age.

Jarrett Jack signs a one year non-guaranteed deal with the Knicks. I guess they're just bringing in every washed up combo guard at this point. Hopefully they somehow trade for Bayless.

        • Anthony Morrow signs a one year, non-guaranteed contract with Portland.

Good move by the Blazers to add shooting after trading Crabbe. Hopefully this takes some of the pressure off of their young wings and bigs.

I think it's been a few years since he participated in an NBA camp. Do you think he has a decent chance at making their final roster?

I think it depends on whether or not he's lost a step. Players who go overseas have no choice but to add to their games so I'm sure he has the skill to play still -and the Western Conference not being as much about defense helps- but he's not exactly young and will have to be able to defend or at the very least be physically capable of it. But he provides a combination of size and skill that is even now hard to find in a veteran player, so if he balls out then why not?

At the very least, he's exactly the kind of player Denver should have around their young guys and especially say Will Barton and Malik Beasley.

Thanks for the response. Apparently he's the first player to jump from the Big3 back to the NBA.

No problem. Yeah he is but I wouldn't expect many more. Most of those guys are washed up has beens. They're legends but well everybody ages eventually.

Jason Terry back to Milwaukee on a one year, $2.3 million deal.

                  • Childress didn't drop off the face of the earth. He had two good years with the Sydney Kings from 2014-16, (20/10/4 or thereabouts), albeit on a cellar dwelling team, followed by Japan. Only real issue of his Australian stint was durability, he missed a lot of games.

Hence why he's the only Big3 player to be signed by an NBA team.

                      • Andrew Bogut signs with the Lakers on a minimum deal. Have to admit I did not at all see this coming. Tough break for Zubac, who earned a starting role with his play last season imo.

                        • Dante Cunningham re-signs with New Orleans for the minimum. Had serious interest from the Bucks and TWolves.

Not much left on the market now. Him and Bogut were really the last two big ones.

                          • Denver signs Mason Plumlee to a 3 year, $41 million extension. Time will tell if this was a good move or not.

                            • Alex Len signs the $4 million and change qualifying offer from Phoenix and will become a UFA in 2018. This was a smart move by a player who has been grossly misused since being drafted in the top ten in 2013.

This leaves only JaMychal Green and Nikola Mirotic as major RFAs. I fully expect Green to be back with Memphis for at least one more year but I have a hard time seeing Mirotic ending up in a Chicago uniform by the time the season starts.

                              • CHBB, how do you see the Carmelo situation playing out? A Houston trade seems unlikely at this point. There's a rumour that if that doesn't happen soon, that he will accept a trade to Portland. Would that be the a good move for him?
