Kyrie already had his prime. It was his first two years in the league. He's declined ever since. The only time he's anything other than ineffective is when fully healthy because he's able to use his quickness to make up for his lack of skill past the "impressive rookie" level. Otherwise he's going to cost you games. People forget that what made Kyrie so effective his first few years was his physical attributes like speed and quickness. Not having that the past few years has made him much less effective despite what the numbers say.
I'm not a Kyrie hater -even though I think he's a spoiled brat who needs to grow up and get over himself. Teams just need to know what they're getting in him. Boston now has one vet -who has only been there a year- and Kyrie has a giant, inflated ego. Brad Stevens better check him because no way any of his teammates can.
