  • 2017 All-NBA teams

As of April 1st but with two weeks of regular season to go here are my All-NBA teams.

    First team

    Russell Westbrook
    James Harden
    Kawhi Leonard
    LeBron James
    Marc Gasol

    Second team

    Isaiah Thomas
    Stephen Curry
    Gordon Hayward
    Giannis Antetokounmpo
    Hassan Whiteside

    Third team

    John Wall
    DeMar Derozan
    Kevin Durant
    Anthony Davis
    Rudy Gobert

Outside looking in with shots to make it depending on final two weeks are Kyrie Irving, Nikola Jokic.

Honorable mention but I can't see a path to selection due to crowded guard position.

Bradley Beal, Jimmy Butler, Klay Thompson and Damian Lillard.

All NBA teams will be announced Thursday. Only change I would make from my predictions a month ago is swap Durant and Hayward from third to second teams.

      My first team would be:

      Russell Westbrook
      James Harden
      Kawhi Leonard
      LeBron James
      Giannis Antetokounmpo

IMO, Gasol shouldn't be in just because of position. He's not the calibre of those above.
LTU NT will snatch Eurobasket 2029 title with this roster:

      Indrusaitis, Brazdeikis, Rubstavicius
      Buzelis, Lelevicius
      Murauskas, Sirvydis
      Tubelis, Krivas

All NBA teams are out and it went pretty much as expected. I disagree with Deandre Jordan on the third team. I think Marc Gasol, Karl-Anthony Towns and Hassan Whiteside all should have been considered over him. And I think Gordon Hayward earned a spot especially with the great season Utah had. I probably would have swapped him with Jimmy Butler from the third team. But that's a minor one that could have gone either way. Jordan as the third team center is off because he'd be on the sixth team if I had a vote.

I can understand the DeAndre selection though I agree Whiteside should have been given consideration.

What I really don't agree with is John Wall and Durant. Lowry, Conley, Love, and Cousins deserved it way more.

I don't know I think you're on an island on this one. Of the 100 voters 87 of them voted for Wall and 95 for Durant,
Love, Lowry, and Conley didn't even get a single vote.

That's exactly the problem with the NBA these days. Lowry, Conley, and Love had great years. Plus no Beal, no Kemba, no Cousins?

I mean honestly, find me a more dominant big than Cousins the past two years. These people must be high.
