    Duncan, Kobe, KG gone

Emotional for me, this guys started their career when I started following basketball

Always wondered what would be if Marbury was able to accept role as 2nd star

I saw a post on FB saying:

    KG is that old that:
-he is the last active NBA player that actualy played against Magic Johnson
-actually played against fathers of Steph Curry, Austin Rivers, Hardaway and Ed Davis
-when he got drafted D'Angelo Russel wasn't even born

Quite an age and an end of an era.

Garnett always reminded me of "Alien" in a good way, with his fierceness and ever sweating forehead. Even if he achieved more with Celtics, he'll probably be remembered more as the Wolves man.

His NBA era coincided with Turkish players' successful stint in the NBA, therefore we watched the NBA and these guys a lot in Turkey, and there are many fans.

Great defender, rebounder and passer. Couldn't get out of the first round of the playoffs in Minnesota for many years until his MVP season in 2004 got them to the Conference final. His trade to Boston changed his career narrative and in his first year there in 2008 he won the championship and was the best player on the team. Paul Pierce was the Finals MVP but Garnett was better in the entire playoff run and regular season where he finished third in the MVP voting.
