    Charlotte Hornets Thread

    After nine years as an expansion team, the Charlotte Bobcats will be re-brand into the Charlotte Hornets starting next season.

    Team will don the Purple and Teal colors from their glory days of the 90's.

      The Time Warner Arena and the Bobcats former practice facility are now under renovation to make way for the Hornets. This brings back fond memories of the 90's and early 2000s for me.

      Alonzo Mourning and Larry Johnson to start. Mugsy Bogues, the best player in his height to play the game. Glen Rice's torrid shooting that even commanded the defensive attention of Michael Jordan himself. Then there is a young and high-flying Baron Davis, shaping to be an all-star caliber point player.

      In other news, the Hornets are interested in Greg Monroe, who is now the focus of intrigue about his tenure with the Pistons under Van Gundy.

            Hornets rookies Vonleh and Hairston flashes their jerseys.



            Vonleh will definitely play PF but the Hornets are reported to be still wanting back McRoberts for a reasonable amount. PJ Hairston is a scorer based on his exploits from the D-League last season. With Charlotte, he still remains in NC and looks ready to move on from his college mistake.

              Gordon Hayward signed the max offer sheet by the Hornets worth $63 million for four years. This puts pressure on the Utah Jazz to match it.

                      Kemba Walker saved the day, making sure that fourth quarter rally was successful for the Hornets. Charlotte winning in OT against the Bucks 108-106.

                              If he did that then I agree, but I still don't see how you're in a position to judge him.
