Mystery man Giannakis Antetoukounmpo (OK I tried with the spelling) first non-NCAA international drafted 15th by the Bucks!

Other internationals drafted include Steven Adams going to OKC and Kelly Olynyk going to BOS (via trade).

I'm rooting for Bennett, but I did not see #1 overall coming for him. Hope the shoulder will be all good for season opener.

You got the surname right (!), but got the first name wrong: that's the last name of your NT coach

Giannis? My bad, I was too focused on the surname

So 12 international drafted in round 1, including 5 who played in the NCAA last year and the #1 Canadian pick.

            Good read on undrafted.

It’s not my job to second-guess the decisions the following players made when they entered the NBA draft without exhausting their collective collegiate eligibility.

For every smiling face on NBA draft night, there is one of sorrow who slips off the NBA radar and into basketball oblivion. Take Renardo Sidney, a once-hyped prospect. Where is he now? Nobody knows.

Fair or unfair, the knock on Shabazz is that he's a selfish player. In the few games that I saw him compete in, when he had the rock, UCLA's possessions tended to die in his hands. Not only is his assist output low, but his offensive efficiency is poor. Also, there was an ugly incident after UCLA's last-second win over Washington in which he was visibly upset with his teammate, Larry Drew, Jr., for not passing him the ball in the dying seconds. After Drew hit the buzzer-beater, instead of celebrating with his teammates, SM was off to the side shaking his head in consternation. That sort of posture looks EXTREMELY bad in the eyes of NBA GM's/executives who are investing millions of $$$ in young draftees. I wish Shabazz all the best, but it may take some doing before he can shake the negative image.

I guess this means there's a great chance Lebron might head back to the Cavs sooner or later especially since his Heat team are getting quite old while the Cavs have lots of exciting upcoming young talented players on the rise.

Well, they haven't realy done much with those 1st round picks in Cleveland. Irving is by some rumours on the way out, Bennet never got in and now they've got a no.1 pick again.

I believe Philly might actualy be in better position overall. with the 3rd pick "sure thing" as Parker, Exum, Gordon and some others are available, with 10th they might be able to draft either Šarić or Nurkić (way underated so far) and with 5 2nd round picks they can gamble and one of those 5 might just work out for them. I am not all that fammiliar with NCAA prospect that would fall in the 2nd, but as far as europeans go Tavares, Micić, Bogdanović might pan out great as 2nd rounders.

I was wondering did it ever happen that the team with no.1 pick would trade down for... let's say no.5 and no.6 pick?
