  • NBA needs to find local buyer for Hornets, quickly

OK, this is beyond ridiculous now. David Stern and the NBA killed the Chris Paul to Lakers trade - twice. Today there was a deal for Paul to go to the Clippers. Clippers were offering Eric Gordan, the first round pick acquired from Minnesota, Chris Kaman, Al and Farouq-Aminu for Paul. NBA wanted Clippers to add Eric Bledsoe to the deal. Clippers said it was too steep, so NBA killed that deal.

The best solution right now for the Hornets is for the NBA to find a buyer - SOON, that will keep them in New Orleans. Otherwise, no team is going to want to do business with them.

D-Will was right. David Stern is a bully.

I was with Stern and the NBA when they nixed the Lakers deal. It was a bad deal or not the best. This deal was excellent. So much young talent, maybe a top 5 pick and Kaman. What's not to like there?

About finding an owner; good luck with that! It's like the housing industry. They need to fix the house up before they sell it. The house(Hornets) is in ruins now with no foundation. The Clippers trade would have fixed the foundation with Eric Gordon and other young talent. As of now the Hornets is not an attractive franchise.
