  • ESPN: LeBron James NBA's No. 1 Player

ESPN ranked LeBron James as the NBA's best player.

However, though many believe he's the best in today's league, the Greatest Point Guard and the Greatest Laker (in par with Kobe and Kareem), believes that ... LeBron definitely isn't up there with Kobe, Jordan or even Larry.

    Check it out ...

LeBron is still my favourite player but I have to agree with Magic that he still needs time until he can reach the level of "immortality" among the NBA's legends of the modern era of the game (1980s to present).

In my opinion, LeBron could fit into the top 10, if not then he's definitely top 15 among all time greats from the 1980s to present.

    Here's my list:

    1. Jordan
    2. Magic
    3. Kobe
    4. Larry
    5. Timmy D
    6. Olajuwon
    7. Robinson
    ...

I'm sure you can put LeBron between 8th to 15th.

Among the current players , i think he is the best in the league. But the fact that he is the best doesn't change he is not a winner.

Shaq definitely needs to be mentioned on the list above and before Robinson for sure.
I even rank D-Wade, Nowitzki, Barkley, and Malone higher than Lebron at the moment.
Until he wins an NBA champion

        Currently...

Currently he is the best all around player in the league. He is NOT the best winner. He is the best player in the NBA today. His Skill on both offense and defense is top tier. The point of the ESPN ranking was only for current players based on the last season 2010-2011.
