    Duncan over Randolph?
Nash over Westbrook? (Nash is my favourite player of all time btw)
    Roy 59th?
    Bibby 307th?
    CP3 over Rose?
Lebron first? Seriously? even after last year's finals?
Kobe 7th? I dnt like the guy, but he's gotta be in the top5..
Blake Griffin 10th? One of my favourite players, but that's a little too high.
    Pau Gasol 11th?

    This list is ridiculous.

I see your point BUT No just because their stats are close doesn't mean It believe Rose should not be MVP. I simply means that I believe Westbrook and Rose should be closer in the rankings. Rose was more important to his team so I understand him getting MVP.

Personally I'd change the criteria for MVP. I'd make it so players like Kevin Love, Zack Randolph, LeMarcus Aldridge got more credit for what they do. I know having a winning team is important BUT nobody in like 40 years has did what Love has done. D. Howard was my 1st MVP choice.

Both Westbrook and Rose had ridiculous numbers this season. I can't help But to think players in larger media/population markets get more hype. Tim Duncan, David Robinson, Manu Ginobli, Tony Parker are all Hall of Fame level players BUT most of them never got the media and fanfare that Rose has. Playing in Chicago has its benefits. Here are the stats:
      2010-2011 reg season
      Westbrook 21.9pts 8.2ast 4.6reb
      Rose 25pts 7.7ast 4.1reb

      2010-2011 playoff season
      Westbrook 23.0pts 6.3ast 5.5reb 4.0TO
      Rose 25.2pts 7.3ast 4.7reb 3.8TO

Rose went to the eastern conference finals with the Bulls. Westbrook went to the Western conference with the Thunder losing against NBA champs Mavs. I'm not saying Westbrook is better or Rose should not be MVP. I'm just saying if Rose is ranked #8 then Westbrook should be ranked #9 or #10 not #15. It's not a scientific ranking. Its more of an opinion pole.
