Shelvin Mack made the Cavs pay tonight by sagging off on him to compress into a zone. That second and third quarter gave the Hawks their win tonight.

Hawks are having a good December as Al Horford is returning to form, winning 10 of 11 games. What I like is their bench quality, starting with Sefalosha's defense.

Personally I'd rather see the Clippers, Warriors, Suns, Jazz, or Nuggets move..... especially the Jazz or the Warriors. Actually, this gives me an idea.

Hawks to re-sign Shelvin Mack. I feel that Mack really responded to Mike Budenholzer's system last season. He focused more on point guard chores instead of the baseline attack.

Hawks book the last playoff ticket for the eastern conference playoffs by winning against the HEAT tonight. They dedicate this one to the late Lou Hudson who passed away this week.

Nice comeback by the Hawks in the second half against fellow division team, Charlotte. Millsap, Teague and Korver hit a triple each to really swing the offense. Hard to believe but the Bobcats hold a 3 game advantage over the Hawks in the southeast.
