What do you mean a heavy push in promotion? They don't even have to do that. China will ride this bandwagon and he's going to give CP3/Nash a run for their money for All Star Starter status.
It's possible, but it's going to depend on how well he plays. If he can't average more than 5ppg then it's going to be hard.
Rookie Royce White could not join the opening training camp of the team due to his phobia of boarding a plane. Just this week, White disclosed to the public his anxiety problem and in lieu of that revelation, his fear of flying has been acknowledged by the management. General Manager Daryl Morey stated in the news that the team will be hiring a psychologist to help White.
This one will be a huge mental block to overcome as the NBA schedule entails a lot of air travel, as teams go back and forth from road games to home stands.

Actually to be fair White disclosed about his fear of flying way back before the draft and reporters and analysts were wondering whether any NBA team would take the risk and draft him and that this would actually lower and negatively affect his chances of getting drafter even though he's quite a talented player.
The Rockets took the risk on him and for sure they knew about this all issue all along so i'm surprised why they didn't hire a psychologist before hand so that he could assist White with his issue over the summer rather than wait this long...
This is an article about White regarding his phobia the day after the draft took place (June 29):
Internationals lifting the Houston Rockets over the New Orleans Hornets 95-75. Omer Asik hauled down 13 rebounds while Donatas Motiejunas added 13 points. Jeremy Lin despite foul trouble had 9 points and 7 rebounds.

I will be monitoring the progress of two players that I like on this team besides Jeremy Lin: Patrick Patterson and Chandler Parsons. Head coach Kevin McHale describes Patterson as a blue-chip throwback forward and stated that Patterson is molding into a David West type of player.
While McHale stated Parsons as having a Tom Chambers in him.
