Mark Cuban: D-League better option for prospects than NCAA

Cuban is certainly hard headed enough to not mind the flak from his more often, hard hitting but callow assumptions. NCAA ball does teach players the value of team work while the D-League is an every man for himself league that operates within a team setting. Players do pad their stats on the D-league. D-League closely simulates NBA pace and scientific training.

PJ Hairston is taking the league by storm now. Save for that lackluster performance against Sta. Cruz, Hairston is gaining a reputation of a scorer that has since piqued the interest of some NBA teams. Five games, two 40+ points games.

After North Carolina choosing not to re-instate PJ Hairston, the latter has signed a professional contract with the Texas Legends, the D-League affiliate of the Dallas Mavericks.
