You think "abandon" is a little bit strong. Hell, I'd rather play in Miami then Cleveland. I'd rather play for an owner/GM that is willing to spend the money and get good players around me. Look, you may not like the decision, but judging him on it, like he actually did something bad, is hypocritical. Abandon...lol.

I believe this quote was taken slightly out of context, at least I've heard some analysts say that now. I believe Pippen's point was that Lebron has the best all around game he's seen even though Jordan was a better overall scorer.

My opinion on the whole matter is that Lebron has little to no chance to ever match Jordan's accomplishments. Even if he does equal many or all of Jordan's highest accolades (6 championships, 6 Finals MVPs, 5 MVPs, etc., etc.) he will probably do it with more talent around him.

Side note related to all this- Lebron doesn't get enough credit for how impactful he was in Cleveland given his supporting cast. I mean, the guy didn't win a championship and left for Miami and that's what everyone focuses on but tell me another modern day player that could have taken those Cleveland teams to a Finals in '07 and have two seasons where they had the best regular season record in the league? I would bet all my life savings that no modern day player- Wade, Kobe, Howard, Dirk, Durant, etc. could have done what he did there.

        James: Nobody can guard me

"I think Shawn Marion has done a great job," James said. "Especially offensively. He's picked up his game offensively. Hanging around the rim, getting some lay-ups, getting some tip-backs, playing around the rim. His activity throughout the first two games has been pretty good."

But what about the defensive end?

"I don't feel like it's one guy in this league that can stop me one-on-one," James said. "There's always a defense that's looking at me when I have the ball. He's the guy that's guarding me, but there's no one guy that can guard me."
Again, just when you thought it was no longer possible, LeBron says something that make people hate him even more

3-11 FG, 46 minutes on court, "but there's no one guy that can guard me". Right

Actually he's right. How do you guard plays like this? LeBron should be nominated for an Oscar.

Not in the same league, Jordan would always will his team to the become the champions. In my opinion nobody could finish like he could
