  • Which European players could make a good career at the NBA?

I mean, to be a starter and play at least 25 min every game.

    Maybe:

    C: Schortsanitis, Tomic, Barac, Motiejunas
PF: Freeland, Fran Vazquez, Lorbek, Teletovic, Nielsen
    SF: Vesely, Claver
    SG: Llull, Diamantidis
    PG: Teodosic, Rubio, Huertas

    Greetings

Schortsainis couldn't play in NBA..he's too slow..and if he would play, he wouldn't get more time than 20 minutes because of his stamina and game speed. Furthermore, he wasn't showing any good results even in Summer League.

Barač should develop his skills playing in the paint, then he could play in NBA.

Despite of height, Motiejūnas is PF and some NBA scouts see him even as SF in NBA.

You didn't mention Valančiūnas? He could make a good career right there.

Vasquez is more C than PF imo.

Teletovič couldn't play as PF in NBA, maybe in SF he could in team with good rotation.

Also I think Lithuanian guard Martynas Pocius could play in NBA and be pretty successful.

he has skills, but dosen't have foot work and speed to use them 100%. he should develop his ofense by adding strenght so he cold be more efective in positionig neer basket, because he will never be able to use his pivots he has at 100%
      Jordi Bertomeu sucks!

Schortsanitis is too slow, but Barac is fast enough? Are we watching the same players? Or is it the usual lithuanian thing? And don't even get me started on the last part.

I believe that the likes of Bodiroga, Zukauskas, Duenas, Fetisov, Christodoulou, Arapovic and Giannakis would have made good careers on the NBA at their time.

There are a lot of players who have played in the NBA, but either had to return to Europe or wanted to do it. In that list we find:

                Nesterovic, Brezec, Ndong, Batista, Lampe
                Khryapa, Turkcan, Garbajosa, Mensah-Bonsu, Tsikitishvili
                Nachbar, Welsch, Monya, Herrmann, Gelabale
                Navarro, Spanoulis, Rakocevic
Sergio Rodriguez, Raul Lopez, Planinic, Ukic, Jasikevicius, Jaric...

Some of them could have made a good career in the NBA, but for different reasons came back to Europe.

                Greetings

Many had good careers in the NBA, especially Nesterotic. Also Welsch, Navarro, Brezec, Nachbar, Garbajosa were all starters at some points.

                  Next in line: Sasha Pavlovic?

                    Speaking about future:

Vesely, Rubio, Kanter, Valanciunas, Motiejunas, Linos Chrysikopoulos, Mirotic, Bogdanovic. IMO, these are the biggest prospects and all of them might have enough potential for good career in NBA.

                    Speaking about given time:

Except already proven Navarro which offensive style fits to NBA, unfortunately there's no players that hold a potential for a good career in NBA. Even Teodosic, DD, Spanoulis, Eidson or healthy Šiškauskas would need a right team, right coach and right time. No players that it would be obvious that they would come and do the job (having important role on the team).
LTU NT will snatch Eurobasket 2029 title with this roster:

                    Jokubaitis, Marciulionis, Laurencikas
                    Indrusaitis, Brazdeikis, Rubstavicius
                    Buzelis, Lelevicius
                    Murauskas, Sirvydis
                    Tubelis, Krivas
