What a unlucky end of the season for Indiana. Not only because they lost Dipo, but because of the conference ladder as well. Even if Indiana would grab third place, they would meat Boston So you play well all season long and you get Boston in the first round... I believe Indiana would handle Pistons, Nets and Magic (as well as Heat), but the East is pretty crazy this season, 5 (Indie with Dipo) very strong teams. I somehow think Boston might even be the most talented team now in the east with Gordon Hayward suddenly playing big. IF Hayward now is read to be 18-20 pts player in the PO, Boston has the most scoring power in the East, IMO. So unlucky Pacers, now they only fight for the home court advantage against Celtics and badly lost recent game against Boston with Bogdanovic struggling. 4:2 Boston would be my prediction.

Oladipo was unbelievable tonight. Granted, we didn't really guard him like we should've but he absolutely torched us. Kid is playing at an All-Star level.

This is the role Lance was born to play. This is clearly his team along with Collison, Thad, and Myles Turner as the longest tenured current Pacers, and he has the freedom to either utilize his unstoppable penetration ability to score or have the ball in his hands to playmake.

With the Pacers basically publicly talking about trading Paul George at this point, one has to wonder who they'll build around now? Sure Myles Turner is a beast but what else do they have? They have Thad Young, GRIII, and a bunch of guards, basically. Lance could potentially play the three but that's about it. TJ Leaf was a major reach so they better bring in some players via trade and free agency. Do they get back Chandler in a trade? Is that even enough? Who realistically scores on this team other than the guards, Turner, and Thad? That's extremely unbalanced.
Definitely a team to watch this offseason. Especially if say Phoenix makes TJ Warren available.

Congrats to Paul George, player of the month for November in the east. He has adjusted in playing SF and PF after his struggles early. Adjustment was the mindset where it's pretty much the same when he was playing SF except, he no longer waits on the wings for a feed, now he rotates to his optimised floor slice according to TS%-charts.

For the past three games, Paul George is on a hot streak. Tonight, 40 points versus the Wizards. PG at his finest.

Pacers looked a lot better defensively when Mahinmi was plugged in, although the offense was smoother and more receptive to the ball close out scenarios when the younger and more athletic Turner was plugged. Pacer front-court is norming a situational rotation with Jordan Hill playing C/PF and Buddinger becoming PF.

Great seeing Paul George back. He gets an amazing ovation from the home crowd. It is a great story out of a depressing season for the Pacers. George and Stuckey will be a force next season.

It is good that Indiana has discovered and re-affirmed their defensive identity. Much of their fall from last year and this season was them believing that they are an exciting up and down offensive team. Paul George's absence took time for them to realize that there was no sense in trying to stand boot to boot with offensive teams. For the past 9 games, defense has been good to warrant league attention.
I'm also very pleased that the REAL Rodney Stuckey has shown up. This is the chance that he was looking for and he is delivering.

Paul George finished his first full practice on the court and now him playing this year is more likely now. Great to see him coming back from that horrible freak accident.
