Thrilling win by the Pacers tonight as they battled from a third quarter deficit to steal the win as the HEAT's defense had a lot of lapses in the 4th. West hit that three as the go-ahead but the HEAT responded by a Bosh 3 made. But the Pacers outlasted the HEAT as there was no time for them to put up a quality attempt.

Pacers part ways with Danny Granger by sending him to Philadelphia with a 2015 pick to Philadelphia in exchange for Evan Turner and Lavoy Allen.

Career night for George Hill as he stepped up bigtime. He forced OT with a trey and that allowed Indiana as a team to outplay Portland in extra time. Hill had a showdown against Damian Lillard in this one.

Interesting move, even if he sits on the bench he brings value for Indiana because he is not playing for Miami. Not sure how will he perform as he kinda said his knees are done, and he is not very motivated to play. Though being in a championship contender team could rejuvenate him.

ESPN Radio reported that the Pacers are in "serious" talks to Andrew Bynum, who was waived the Chicago Bulls last month.

Love the fact that Phoenix is the only team that won twice against them during this season. Like you said Indiana has problems with uptempo teams that run and score.
If Pacers can make it through Miami (or even Hawks before that), they will have a tough time in the finals against Western teams, especially if they play sloppy like tonight against the Suns.

Triple double for Lance Stephenson despite the Pacers falling yet again to the Suns. Pacers had no fast-break points, their three point shooting was non-existent and they just pounded it in the paint. Sloppy game by the starters and the bench was almost non-existent.

Pacers having trouble against western playoff contending teams.

Indiana had its shares of trouble this season against uptempo teams that love to run and score. Teams like Phoenix and Denver play the passing lanes very well that leads to their fast break points. When Indiana does not have a double digit rebounding edge, they are vulnerable. One person that is an enigma and continuous to do so is Lance Stephenson. He can do it all; takes crazy shots that either makes or breaks the team. He is also their leading assists guy but also leads the team in turnovers. But Stephenson is a versatile guy that can achieve a triple double, like has done this season.

As if Stephenson's promotional bid for all-star selection was not enough, he made quite a show against the Knicks last night:

Definitely a career season for Stephenson. From being a troubled reserved with doubts of his future with the team due to pass misdemeanor, he has changed for all the better. Now he leads the NBA with the number of triple doubles with three.

It was fun in seeing Paul George shoot it out with Kevin Durant. For seasons to come, this is going to be a marquee match up.
