This is the Rodney Stuckey that the Pacers traded for. When the back-court of Hill and Miles were shooting blanks, Stuckey was instant offense and created a mismatch against Curry. Bench played well despite being short handed. Pacers upset the Warriors.

It's easy to watch the teams that are set and have no real questionmarks but it's much more fun to me personally to watch teams with situations like this where there is a real opportunity for players to step up. Rodney Stuckey has a chance to really resurrect his career this year and show why he was seen as a rising star before his fainting woes and then benching. CJ Miles has the opportunity to get the most minutes and biggest opportunity since he was in Utah, and everybody will get more minutes than they would with Paul George there. Even Chris Singleton could resurrect his career if he can work and play his way into decent minutes considering his size, athleticism, and defensive ability. The Pacers still have Roy Hibbert and David West, and they have added some guys who are good shooters. I would expect to see Stuckey and Miles fight it out for the starting 2 guard spot and Miles, Solomon Hill, and maybe Chris Copeland fight it out for the starting 3 spot.
If neither player works out, I could see Indiana trading for a guy like OJ Mayo, Jordan Crawford, etc. Mayo's contract isn't great but Indiana would be the perfect situation for him to re-establish himself as a 20ppg scorer and major player so if they don't want to keep him they could easily flip him to a team who buys into the numbers he would put up in Indiana. Crawford isn't quite on OJ's level but he'd be cheap, will most likely not see a lot of opportunities this year, and he's shown with Boston that he can score and really play well when given the chance. Either way, it should be interesting to see what happens this season.
Let's remember that as great as Paul George can be, he's a double-edged sword who has been called out as selfish by his own teammates. They might not have his offense this year but they'll be a much more balanced team and they've brought in two guys who in the past have showed that know how to score.

New NBA Rule Clears the Baseline
AKA the Paul George Rule:
1. The “escape lanes,” the spaces flanking the stanchion that must be kept clear at all times for players hurtling underneath the basket, will be expanded from three to four feet on each side.
2. The number of camera positions will be reduced to 20, 10 on either baseline. T

Paul George is certain to miss the 2014-2015 season due to that ugly freak injury sustained over the weekend. This not also drags down Indiana's hopes in making the playoffs but also has a ripple effect in the central division and the whole of the eastern conference.
Bad summer for Indiana.
Some good news is that George's franchise, family, friends and colleagues across the NBA are optimistic that he will return one day.

Reports: Indianapolis strikes deal to keep Pacers
INDIANAPOLIS (AP) -- The Indianapolis Capital Improvement Board reportedly has struck a deal to pay about $160 million to the Indiana Pacers to keep the NBA franchise in the city.
The Indianapolis Star and the Indianapolis Business Journal reported Thursday that the deal due to be announced Monday will keep the Pacers in the city through the 2023-24 season. The agreement includes options to renew the deal for three years.
The reports said the deal includes $33.5 million for upgrades to Bankers Life Fieldhouse and $10.8 million per year for operations. The Pacers would not be allowed to terminate the agreement because of operating losses. The city also gets the right of first refusal if 79-year-old team owner Herb Simon dies and his heirs put the team up for sale.
Agreement good for another decade. Pacers current crop still has a lot of mileage to run.
