    • As Hibbert ruled the paint, Stephenson and George tore up the perimeter. Notch this one for Indiana and well done.

      • Paul George has been strong and playing like a high level all-star to begin the season. Indiana is 4-0 currently with George's tenacity, withstanding the injury of Granger yet again.

        • Indiana triumphs against Chicago in their ongoing rivalry. Paul George lead the Pacers in scoring and helped them comeback from a deficit in the third quarter. Fourth quarter saw a shooting barrage from Lance Stephenson and Luis Scola to close the game.

              • That's 8-0 now for the Pacers. Their offense just won't cool down.. even against the Grit and Grind defense by the Grizzlies.

                • Paul George was all clutch in OT to help Indiana offset Carmelo Anthony's 30 & 18 game. George's shooting was timely for the Pacers to take the lead and let Hill and Hibbert ice the game with charities.

                    • Indiana improves to 14-1 with a win against Charlotte tonight. The barrage of three pointers in the 4th lead by CJ Watson, who made three treys alongside Donald Sloan and Rasual Butler finished the game strong.

                        • I'm pleasantly surprised by the success of this team, and hope they will win more in the future, but I wish other times from East would emerge with better results.
As usual West top teams have better results overall, but this season it seems kinda extreme.

We are at the end of the first quarter of the season and if we exclude the first two spots in the East (Indiana and Miami), the third team is Washington with a score of 9-9 (.500). Next is Boston with 8-12 (.400).
In the west 9-9 (.500) are Phoenix Suns and LA Lakers, and there is 10 teams above them with better scores. And in this moment, I'm not sure if there is any team in the East that can really join Indi and Miami at the top.

I don't think anyone expected the Knicks, Nets and Bulls to be playing this bad early on in the season... But to be honest injuries do have a major role in this.
The Nets are not the same team without Deron Williams. Moreover they're missing players like Paul Pierce, Lopez and Kirilenko due to injury as well.

Rose is a franchise player and the Bulls without him definitely are not the same team.

The team i'm surprised with the most are the Knicks... I mean I understand that not having Tyson Chandler will affect the team but still having the worst record in the NBA with a 3-13 record is totally unacceptable for a team that has lots of talented players.

Yeah, me too for the Nicks, I can't believe that such a team would be worst or second worst in the league (Milwaukee lost, so now they are worst with 3-14).
Though as somebody said it will be funny for me if J.R. Smith and Amar'e keep producing in the single digits, I mean that is really unexpected

                              • This Pacer team reminds me of the 2003-2004 Pacers that had an upcoming core of Jermaine O'Neal, Ron Artest, Jamal Tinsley and the legendary Reggie Miller, the holdover from their 2000 finals team. That team lead by O'Neal surprised the East, who was also lackluster at that time. It's just that the following year was supposed to be their finest but the incident known as the Malice at the Palace derailed it.

This season, Indiana has been strong, like from last year without Danny Granger. This offseason, they can let him walk for a crazy amount of cap space that of a contender. Granger could also be dealt next year if the right deals come along.
