Personally I'd rather see Shabazz Mohammed get the playing time. They need to find out what they have in him and he's barely played up to this point.

As for Wiggins, I keep racking my head to think of who he reminds me of. Definitely not Tmac, Durant, or LeBron. His build and look in general kind of reminds me of Wes Johnson, actually his game does too. I think he's basically the best case scenario of what the TWolves expected Wes Johnson to be. I think the only difference between the two is that Wiggins will always have this pressure on him to be the best that Wes Johnson doesn't have given that he's the great hope of Canadian basketball. There has never been this kind of situation for a kid in any sport. I couldn't even imagine being him. That will make him a much better player than Wes though and will make him everything the TWolves thought they'd have in Wes and more.

God that kid is frustrating. He has all the potential to be a Top 5 player in this league but I guess he's just a laid back kid from Texas at the end of the day. He was just in the perfect situation at Syracuse and became the most polished player by far in what was a weak draft when it came to established players and was more full of guys who had potential. I think Wiggins has the same kind of mindset/demeanor but Canada's going to make damn sure he becomes the player he's capable of. They've got too much riding on him.

Sorry Minnesota, I'm rooting for you guys and especially for Thad but I don't feel bad that we got our first win against you given that you could barely give away tickets even when you had a star like Kevin Love.

I will say that I was very impressed with Shabazz Muhammed though. He is a lot leaner than his rookie season and his energy, hustle, and intensity were great. He could be another Anthony Bennett (awful rookie year but night and day in his second year) if he keeps it up.

Really glad Thad played so well against us, too, and not surprised at all. He has such a lethal combination of skill, athleticism, heart, and toughness.

I expect them to deal Thad now given Payne's major potential and major size compared to the other options they have at the 4.
