  • Great comeback win from a 22-point deficit for LAC!!!

    • Griffin will finally return early in April. He's healthy enough to play but is serving a four game suspension for misdemeanor off the court.

      • The Clippers just traded away their franchise. They have been a team that only works with a lead guard like CP3 since they traded for him. He was literally the only reason they won -though DeAndre's defense has become huge. This move to me says that they are now all in when it comes to Blake as the focal point of their offense because that's the only way this will work. They can't be the same Clippers without CP3. Period. They just can't. He made it all work.

But they made some great picks on draft day in Jawun Evans and Sindarius Thornwell to name just two and got a damn good haul in return. Now we get to see how Doc is at coaching a rebuilding team/one in transition.

        • As CHBB stated, I'd like to continue the sports narrative of the Clippers saga. Enter Milos Teodosic, whom the average Clippers fan have no clue about except from yesterday.

Teodosic brings a different aspect of floor generalship and the comparisons to the CP3 will be inevitable. While CP3 was a fast pace playmaker who commands a faster pace for plays to develop, Teodosic plays it with a mellow concierto and time the perfect opportunities as the play envelop. CP3 often forces the action at times when the pick gets iced prematurely or when the baseline was denied, often charging right into the baseline either to score or force new opportunities. With Teodosic, he uses misdirection out of pre-determined sets that the team has worked on through numerous rehearsals and keenly developed as an innate reaction basing on player to player chemistry.

It will be interesting on how Jordan and Griffin work in a slower pace, far from the furious lobcity identity during CP3's era. It's weird to see Teodosic dribbling to delay the defense as the lynchpin key plays develop right out of the strongside, but to be honest, it's refreshing. Only time will tell how the Teodosic era will bring the franchise but I tell you that it will be hard to top what CP3 has done. That team was mostly felled by injuries and doomed their season.

          • Teodosic out indefinitely with a foot injury. Guess it shouldn't be surprising given the toll the NBA takes on any new player.

              • At one play, Milos was bringing the ball into transition and Bogdanovic was covering him, Milos did a minor skip as if he was looking to make a bounce pass --- only to drain a 32 footer.

                • Here’s my prediction. Clippers got rid of Blake’s salary and are gonna make a push and I think inevitably end up with LeBron and Paul George next summer. They will probably hope to hold on to Avery Bradley a Doc Rivers guy as part of the future as well. Tobias Harris could go either way as his contract is up after ‘19 and I definitely think Gallinari will be the next to be shipped out. If the money works out a nucleus of LeBron, Paul George, DeAndre Jordan and Avery Bradley could be special.

                  • I think it's good job for LAC.

We are waiting to see what they will do with DAJ and Williams.

Might work. And they have a lot of young talent on cheap deals.

I think they maybe finally realized you can't build a contender around Blake.

                      • You saw last night both why Lou Williams isn't an All-Star and why the Clippers are a mess.

They have every bit as much talent as the Pistons even without Blake but they let guys like Lou, Austin, and now Tyrone Wallace dominate the ball while actual scorers like Sindarius and Jawun Evans barely touch the ball. Not to mention Gallinari. They had enough to win last night and yet just completely laid an egg. The Blazers are a strong team but come on.

I'm not sure this trade will change anything or that anything will change until at the very least Lou and Austin are gone.

                        • LA extends Lou Williams for three years, with the third year being a team option.

I know he has put up crazy numbers this season but to me this was a mistake. Lou is a ball-dominant combo guard, and Jawun Evans could easily be a better scorer than Lou will ever be, without having to have the offense catered to him. But this is exactly what LA does under Doc. They ride with flawed vets rather than developing high upside young players. Like letting Bledsoe and Bullock go for a song and starting guys like Matt Barnes and way over the hill Paul Pierce.

Mistake? he gets paid 8.6 millions and last year is only 1.6 millions guaranteed, Jerry West robbed a man, and this is gonna be great trade bait for next summer

Lou has never sustained high scoring numbers for a whole season. And he's still laid some absolute eggs, like he did against Portland. Kept dominating the ball and jacking up shots even though he was just plain shitting the bed, and it cost his team the game.

To me, he's getting what he's worth. Roughly. Especially when you take into account the negatives that come with having him on your team.
