TheSportCity.Net launches its second autumn NBA season of Fantasy manager. It is going to start on 24th of October and last till January. There are going to be 11 tours and normally they will last from Sunday afternoon till Friday morning.

First three places will win TheSportCity.Net prizes related to NBA. There is also going to be at least one tournament.

TheSportCity.Net present it's first free tournament. Registration to Sixth Open Fantasy tournament - NBA, starts today and will last till 14th of November. Tour scheduler will be created according to number of participants.

There is no entry fee for this tournament.

Tournament Winner will get DVD "NBA Hardwood Classics Series: Magic Johnson Always Showtime".

Conclusion of NBA 2010 autumn season

On 16th of January NBA 2010 autumn manager sezonas has ended. First three places were taken by:

3 (3) zaidejas "stroikiniai" 6088 177546

However first two participants were clear leaders, there was an intense battle for third place, which overtook fourth only by 22 points. Congratulations to winners, exact prizes will be announced later.

Conclusion of First free Fantasy manager tournament

In January Sixth open Fantasy manager tournament has ended as well. There have been 107 participants in this tournament, which was first TheSportCity.Net tournament without entry fee. In final round Trace defeated RjP 887:677. Trace prize is DVD "NBA Hardwood Classics Series: Magic Johnson Always Showtime".

TheSportCity.Net is going to continue organise similar tournarments in 2011.

Start of NBA 2010/2011 spring manager season

From 16th of January we will open registration for NBA 2010/2011 spring manager season. First tour will start on 30th of January. There will be 11 tours overall. 11th tour will last till 15th of April. As usual, at least first three places will receive TheSportCity.Net prizes related to NBA league (book, DVD, videogame or something else).

Well, although at TheSportCity.Net spring NBA season has already started on Sunday it is not too late to create team and participate in cup tournament which will be held there in couple of weeks time.

Hey sp0rtsnutone. I would suggest you get a social life lol, but to answer your question, why don’t you try gameon247. Just google the name and their site should come up. Its gaming website filled with casino styled games like Blackjack. They also have daily tournaments every 15 mins, if that’s what you meant by championships and you can see how you stack up against other players with their leader boards so I’m sure the competition is intense. I’d have to second what fantasy2011fan said. Gameon247 has the best free online tournament I’ve ever played. I always play Blackjack there everyday and I must say it’s very fun and competitive. How can it not be fun to win against other people . If you do end up playing at gameon247 be sure to look for me, Bruno. I’ll give you a good schooling lol.

This week we have opened registration for two NBA Fantasy manager tournaments: Seventh Open and Third Free. Registration will be open till 27th of February

Any number of players can participate in these tournaments. If final number of participants is not power of 2 (i.e. 8.,16, 32 and so on), then first tour is going to be a qualification tour. Participants for qualification round will be selected from players registered for tournament, from lower half of associated manager season standings table. After each tour results will be calculated and winners will go through to the next tour.

Entry fee for Seventh Open Fantasy manager tournament - 10 credits. There is no entry fee for Third Free Fantasy manager tournament

Prize for Seventh Open Fantasy manager tournament is DVD "NBA - Ultimate Jordan Collectors Edition".

Prize for Third Free Fantasy manager tournament is DVD "NBA - Hardwood Classics Series - Larry Bird A Basketball Legend".

After very smooth (knock the wood) transition to a new server, TheSportCity.net presents new, 2011/2012, season of NBA Fantasy Manager.

As you, of course, know, this is going to be a season shortened by a lockout. Overall there will be 17 tours, first tour starts on 8th of January. As usual, tours will last from Sunday mid-afternoon/evening till Thursday morning. As players are still changing teams, there will be some minor market changes. Keep in mind that altough Ron Artest has changed his name to Metta World Peace, he is still Ron Artest in our dabase.
