Good win for the Bucks tonight against the slumping Los Angeles Lakers. Larry Sanders made a huge impact defensively, Brandon Knight with a career high 37 points, Giannis Antetokounmpo showcased his versatility while Ersan Ilyasova is returning to form after injuries. Lost in the shuffle was OJ Mayo, but they will take the win.Sacramento Kings

I would really like it if teams that are tanking would get their top 4-10 lottery picks and then it turns out that the top 4 talents are not good enough for NBA, but draft picks #13, #23 and #27 are beasts. That would be fun to see...
Next year's draft is really talented though so there's going to be a lot of players who will have great NBA careers from next year's draft... Maybe not as good as the 2003 draft but I think they will be the best draft since then.

Nate Wolters is definitely a keeper for this team. Out of the second round, they found a gem here. His composure, basketball IQ and point forward skills are emerging and with Caron Butler being waived recently, it was to give way. Wolters and Antetokounmpo are versatile indeed.Sacramento Kings

Kareem Abdul-Jabbar interested in returning to Bucks
That would be awesome. Abdul-Jabbar was the driving force that teamed up with an aging Oscar Robertson to bring Milwaukee an NBA championship back in 1971. I believe they would have beaten the Celtics in 1974 had not Lucius Allen been injured.
Anyways, shades of this image flashed across my senses when reading this news.

Bucks looked horrible tonight. Brandon Jennings and Khris Middleton taking a lot of shots. Ilyasova's shots were apt but some were forced. Had he not taken those shots, Jennings and Middleton would have shot more.Sacramento Kings

Herb Kohl sold the team to hedge fund billionaires Marc Lasry and Wes Edens for $550 million as reported initially. The deal was struck on the primary condition that the team must stay in Milwaukee in which Lasry and Edens stated that it is within their best interest to do so. Kohl pledged $100 Million for a new arena. Marc Lasry and Wes Edens also promised $100 Million in turn.
Congratulations Milwaukee Bucks fans.Sacramento Kings

It might be a bit old the current one, but it looks very nice and big.
I really hope that if Bucks creates a competitive team for the next season, then Giannis Antetokoumbo will still be able to find a place in team's roster.
He played so many games as a rookie because Bucks was the second worse team in NBA this season. If Antetokoumbo was Spurs's pick I doubt he had make it play in NBA this season. He probably end up playing in NBDL.EUROLEAGUE CHAMPION 1996 - 2000 - 2002 - 2007 - 2009 - 2011

For so many seasons, NBA pressured the city of Sacramento and the Kings org to finance a new arena. While the Maloofs are broke, the NBA listened to offers from Anaheim and Seattle. Thankfully, Ranadieve and Mayor Kevin Johnson pulled things together. This experience taught me that this is all business and the NBA does not really care about basketball history or the die hard fans.Sacramento Kings

I mean that the current Buck's arena looks very nice and I'm sure that they can just improve the arena in order to meet the NBA's standards. You can't build a new arena every 20 years for example in order to keep the team alive and kicking in your state. They should let them just to improve it.
They are just trying to take the Bucks away from Milwaukee. That's how I see it.
The same thing happened with Clippers owner. That guy might be a racist but he told his opinion over the phone to his wife. He didn't do it in a public space.
The phone call recording was a clear set up to me, in order to force him sell the team away.
So the ''old'' Bucks arena is just an excuse in order to force the current owners to sell them.. I'm very happy that Bucks will remain in Milwaukee. And I'm very happy that found new owners as well willing to keep the team in Milwaukee and make it competitive again.
NBA is killing teams history by changing team's location and name.
Can you imagine Bulls playing in NY ? NO WAY !!! But if a crazy filthy rich person wants to claim Bulls and relocate them in NY then who can stop him from doing it, if he has the money and the power? The fans? I don't think so ...
If NBA agrees with the relocation then no one can do anything about.Last edited by Panathinaikos; 05-16-2014, 12:27 PM.EUROLEAGUE CHAMPION 1996 - 2000 - 2002 - 2007 - 2009 - 2011
