Cousy or Nash - Cousy was the revolutionary playmaker, but Nash and today's PGs seem faster and more skilled

Russell or Duncan - Duncan is a Top 25 player. Russell is a Top 10

Moses or The Mailman - tough, tough, tough...I think I'll take the Mailman because I've seen him more

Dumars or The Glove - As his career went down, people forgot how good Payton was. He was never the most skilled PG, but he always gave his best and always had good games

Rodman (Pistons) or Rodman (Bulls) - I guess his statistical peak was in '91 when he was with Detroit. Can I pick Rodman from the Dragones de Tijuana??

Rik Smits or Yao Ming - I like Smits a lot, he's a legitimate star and a great center. Indiana's second best player behind Reggie. Still, I'll take Yao

Starks or Bowen - Starks could play defense, get lay-ups, and shoot...a complete package player. Plus....

The 50's? I think the progress of the game and the quality of training leaves the so called Contemporaries at a great disadvantage. BUT, preference is more than an equalizer, still it's fun! That said:

    Nash
Nash is the faster and modern version of the Houdini of Hardwood

    Russell
I'd pick him up any day due to Championships. 11 out of 13?

    Mailman
Mailman's scoring offense over Big Moses' Rebounding

    The Glove
What can I say? GP was one of the greatest defensive guards ever.

    Rodman (Pistons)
    Nastier version

    Yao Ming
    Chairman Yao > Smits

    Starks
Was versatile enough for the Bulls to respect his game.

Either way, I would agree with you on this choice.
Yeah, 'cause Kemp in Cleveland wasn't that young. But that Seattle team was pretty good with Schrempf, Payton, and Kemp. I think that he was supposed to play in Spain a couple of years ago and he was supposedly in fantastic shape, but I guess he didn't like life overseas.

It's true. Kemp could be pretty lazy on both sides of the court. So many of his points were off beautiful, but very easy, lob passes.
Manu Ginobilli or Drazen Petrovic--Tough, tough decision. I'd pick them both if I had the option.
Yeah, this one is definitely tough. But for those few years, he may have been the best. "It was a thrill to play against Drazen." - Michael Jordan

That's another tough one. But like Federoy said, Ortiz was a stalwart. He was a great player who played in the Age of the Center. Of course, the more I think about it, the better Scola looks. He's certainly a Top Ten, maybe a Top Five PF in the world today.

    Andrew Gaze or Nikos Galis.
I haven't watched Galis in action but i've read so many great stories about what he has accomplished as a player for Greece even though Gaze is probably the greatest Australian bball player.

    Dirk Nowitzki or Arvydas Sabonis
Very tough call. If we're talking NBA then Dirk for sure but overall career goes to Sabonis.

    Kobe Bryant or Magic Johnson
By the time Kobe retires, I think he will surpass Magic.

    Shawn Kemp or Dwight Howard
Dwight still has alot to offer for the Magic

    LeBron James or Clyde Drexler.
I just voted for LBJ considering that he's 25 years old and we'll have to see by the time he retires what has he been able to accomplish.

    Gregor Fucka or Andrea Bargnani.
Bargnani maybe a better individual player but what Fucka has done with the Italian NT is much more than Bargnani especially considering the predicament that the Italian NT is in at the present as they are even finding it tough to qualify to Euro 2011.

    Luis Scola or Jose Ortiz.
Scola's accomplishments so far are more impressive. Looking forward to see what he can do with the Argentinian NT this summer in Turkey.

    Oscar Schmidt or Dirk Nowitzki
If we talk Olympics Schmidt hands up. Dirk though has been the Mavs best franchise player ever and his effect on the German NT is more impressive. I don't think Germany will be able to get back to the level they had with Nowitzki on their roster.

    Sergei Bazarevich or Steve Nash
    Nash all the way

Sasha Danilovic or Juan Carlos Navarro
Right now JCN has the slight edge but considering that he might win another Euroleague and championships with Spain he has the upperhand.

    Manu Ginobilli or Drazen Petrovic.
If Drazen hadn't passed away so young in his life we wouldn't be having this comparison. Manu though (for what he has been able to provide so far) is one of the best international players to have played in the NBA.

    Rick Fox or Francisco Garcia
I don't fancy either player but Fox did have a more important role on the Lakers roster during their championship run.

    Hedo Turkoglu or Toni Kukoc
Kukoc by far Kukoc was an integral player of the Bulls franchise ans was always the 3rd option after MJ and Pippen. Hedo still hasn't been able to deliver what everyone was hoping from him and this years' performance with Toronto was very dissapointing.

    Manute Bol or Gheorghe Muresan.
Both giants left a presence in the NBA but Bol (RIP) had a bigger impact imo.

    Dino Radja or Andrew Bogut
I am basing this after Bogut's last season and considering that he will continue improving over the next couple of years.

    Rony Seikaly or Zydrunas Ilgauskas
Very tough call as well but I think Ilgauskas' impact on the Cavs was just slightly more than what Seikaly brought for the Heat during their prime years.

Andrew Gaze or Nikos Galis--Close, but gotta go with the Aussie long ranger.

Dirk Nowitzki or Arvydas Sabonis--A.S. (in his prime) all day.

Kobe Bryant or Magic Johnson--Both are Laker legends, but Magic's size, decision making, and skill set is uncomparable.

Shawn Kemp or Dwight Howard--Though offensively limited, at least Howard never takes plays off--Mr. Kemp?

LeBron James or Clyde Drexler--Sucky personality, but LeBron is a freakish speciman.

Gregor Fucka or Andrea Bargnani--What has Bargnani done for Italia that Fucka hasn't?

Luis Scola or Jose Ortiz--Gotta give the edge to the former-PRNT stallworth.

Oscar Schmidt or Dirk Nowitzki--Geez, this is a hard one, but the Deutschlander has a sweet stroke and does some rebounding every now and then.

Sergei Bazarevich or Steve Nash--Nash might go down as one of the best guards to ever lace 'em up. Plus, no guy that looks like Rasputin should get the nod over a future Hall of Famer.

Sasha Danilovic or Juan Carlos Navarro--Has the heart of Navarro, but with size, a better jump shot, and a nasty mean streak. I'll take the Bosnian!

Manu Ginobilli or Drazen Petrovic--Tough, tough decision. I'd pick them both if I had the option.

Rick Fox or Francisco Garcia--Hey, at least Rick has a few NBA titles!

Hedo Turkoglu or Toni Kukoc--The Waiter has served!

Manute Bol or Gheorghe Muresan--R.I.P. Manute.

Dino Radja or Andrew Bogut--I would've taken Bogut but he's missed half his playing career due to injuries. Radja was solid for the Celts and Croatia's NT.

Rony Seikaly or Zydrunas Ilgauskas --Big Z for sure.
