Newly signed forward Matt Barnes has been arrested in Sacramento, California for domestic violence against a resident as published into this report by KCRA.com

SACRAMENTO, Calif. -- Sacramento County Sheriff's deputies say Los Angeles Lakers player Matt Kelly Barnes was arrested on domestic violence charges.

Officials said deputies responded to an incomplete 911 call from a residence located in the 8100 block of Sunset Avenue at 4:16 p.m. Wednesday where they met with 30-year-old Matt Kelly Barnes and a woman who he lived with and had a dating relationship.

Deputies said they determined the two were involved in a physical confrontation during which Barnes prevented the woman from talking to 911 operators. Furthermore, while both parties had visible injuries, Barnes was determined to be the primary aggressor and taken into custody, officials said.

Barnes was booked into the Sacramento County Jail on the felony charges of domestic violence and maliciously obstructing the use of a telephone line. He posted a $50,000 bond and was released.

He is scheduled to be arraigned on Sept. 13.

On Barnes' Twitter page Wednesday night he said, "Don't let your ears witness, what your eyes didn't see!!!"

According to Barnes' profile on NBA.com, he and his fiancée, Gloria, have twin boys, Isaiah Michael and Carter Kelly, born in November 2008. Barnes attended Del Campo High School in Sacramento.

And the header says: Former Sacramento Kings player.... Sure he once played for us and was later traded to the Philadelphia 76ers along with Chris Webber.

To all those lebron fans!!!

There is something that I want to say to all the Lebron James fans of the world.You guys I say that "king" James is the most dominant player in the game today.You say that he is better than Kobe because he is younger and he has done alot of the things that Kobe has done.And this is true .Exept for one very important thing.Kobe wins championships.And unfortunately for Lebron, that is how we measure greatness in the NBA.So I think that Lebron should wait until he actually has a ring until he calls himself a "king". ALL HAIL KING KOBE!!!

I hate Lakers soo much, but respect for Kobe. He is a human being unlike Lebron and he's fantastic. Yes without robbing Gasol he couldnt won 2 more rings, with the most dominant player of last decade-Shaq- I would even win 3 three championship, he have never been so creative bballer, but damn he did almost everything scored 81, scored 40+ in a row, scoring championships, his diffense, his offense.. I hated him, and still not like him too much because he was the biggest rival of AI3. The difference between they was Shaq,Lakers and discipline. He was lucky and myboy was unlucky. I got jealous him because everyone considered him better than AI since the middle of decade.
BTW Lebron is the biggest loser ever. He has just unnatural physical ability and uses it very well. BUT he has no special bb iq,mental ability,good shooting, and always have refs assistance.

For Lakers,
I hate them, because of Los Angeles, they have always been lucky, players want to play there. They have money. They can easily use cheating,robbing etc(Gasol!) Refs have always helped them. Im a fan of Dallas. We would have more title chance later than our stolen championship, but Lakers with Gasol was easily able to be dominant in Western.
Lastly, of course 2001 Finals! Pity on AI. He deserved winning title
