How can I run for presidency of this club?
I can't stand Kobe!!!!! I mean better than MJ??? LOL come on he can never be as creative, influential and tough as MJ.
He never had as much troubles and he claims to be better and wears a number+ than MJ!!!!
Now as for the game well starting with him imitating MJ's moves and falling one time after another, he never won a tittle without a dominant Center and rarely passes the ball specially when in the naked time.
I can't stand the Lakers nor Bryant, but I can describe both with one word: Arrogant!!!

      Kobe Bryant

Obviously, there's the Denver accusations from 2003, an off-court, offseason episode that tainted Bryant forever in some fans' minds. But he heard his share of boos and hisses before and after that scandal, stemming from his determination and ability to beat other fans' heroes. Some folks resent that Bryant has been too eager to replicate Michael Jordan, from his clutch play to his space-creating post posture to his speech patterns. Also, feuding with O'Neal -- a comical, likeable lug to many fans -- earns Bryant more demerits.

People may hate KING JAMES but at least the lad has his OWN style of play.

It's hard enought just trying to control the "one" ego (aka "G@y M@mB@").

Sure enough, to his credit the lad has matured however, the only reason he matured was through the hard work of the coaching staff.

50% of us here hate the Lakers because of Kobe. I feel like renaming this thread "The Official Anti-Kobe/ Lakers Hate Club".

Michael Jordan looks to score when given the ball. Kobe Bryant looks to draw fouls when given the ball.

                  That enough draws the line.

Yeah like watching the Wallabies beat the All Blacks in the 2nd game of the Bledisloe Cup in New Zealand
C'mon Wallabies! We can DO IT! 45 mins left til game time.

Now going back to the Sub-Topic on how much Kobe thinks that he's in par with the Greatest Basketball Player Ever, Kobe has to realise sure enough he's got the rings BUT were the first three his? NO. Did he get the Finals MVP for the first three championships? NO Has he won the Defensive Player of the Year? NO Has he won Five Regular Season MVPs? NO Has he won the respect and admiration of ALL of his colleagues and fans on and off the court &%$# NO

This is why I still cannot put Kobe in the Top 5 players of All Time much more in par with the Greatest Player in the history of Basketball.

Off-Topic: You know for someone like me.. who lives in Canterbury and watch Robbie Deans orchestrated the best rugby franchise (Canterbury Crusaders) in the Southern Hemisphere (or in the world) for years, in a game between the All Blacks and the Wallabies.. I'll be supporting Robbie Deans.. simply to remind NZRU that they let go of the wrong guy... the Aussies are struggling simply because they are not suitable to Dean's coaching system and the players that pretty much suitable to his system are wearing the black jerseys...

Australia needs another system that suits them.. Robbie Deans got a good coaching record but I think his system doesn't suit the Australians

On-Topic: You read my mind, I got all that in my draft

Off the topic: Maybe the Aussies just don't understand him LOL Only joking. Yeah, this could be the reason why they have been struggling as of late. Especially having just lost the match and the Bledisloe Cup AGAIN to our neighbours (as usual).

Prior to kick off that's (Kiwis supporting for the Wallabies to win) what the commentators were saying. Just shows that Coach Dean is considered a living legend among you Kiwis.

Honestly, I would be laughing my head off so much if the All Blacks loose the Rugby World Cup to the Wallabies. That would be like back in 1950 when Brazil lost the Football World Cup to Uruguay in Rio's Grand Stadium: Maracana.

If Australia and the All Blacks both top their group they can meet up in the finals.

On Topic: I still remember after Kobe's 81 ball hogging mastery back in 2006 when journalist were saying that he was on par with Jordan, Rick from NBA TV when on his usual "Rant" but this one was the ultimate rant lecturing viewers on why Kobe is NO WAY near the achievements of Jordan.

I believe, not only can I write thesis on why Kobe is not in par with Jordan but also not in par with Magic or Kareem.

Here's a quick one comparing the achievements of Kobe and Kareem for all those Kobe Lovers:

                            Championships:

                            Kobe 5 vs Kareem 6

                            Regular Season MVPs:

                            Kobe 1 vs Kareem 6

                            Finals MVP:

                            Kobe 2 vs Kareem 2

                            All NBA First Team:

                            Kobe 8 vs Kareem 10

                            All NBA Defensive First Team:

                            Kobe 8 vs Kareem 5

                            NBA All Star Games:

                            Kobe 12 vs Kareem 19

Off-Topic: I'm not going to predict who will win the Rugby World Cup nor I'm going to full-pledgely support the All Blacks... all those years I wondered why my friends hate talking about the 1999 semi-final heart-break (rugby's version of "Paking Shet"!).. then there was the 2003 upset by your team in the semis again and it did not sink in.. then came 2007 and they were beaten by France in the quarters and I almost cry.. now I know what my Kiwi friends felt in 1999.. anyway, in order to avoid another heartbreak, I'm supporting three teams next year: All Blacks, Wales, and Wallabies (thanks to Robbie Deans) just like in FIFA World Cup (NZ, England, Spain)...

                              On-topic: The Kobe-bashing goes on...
