You (Sacramento Kings) were cheated back in 2002. Your team SO deserved that title however, all those dodgy calls during the series and the conspiracy led by the comissioner to ensure that LA reached the finals for a third straight year.
Even though I wasn't a Sacramento Kings fan, how could anyone hate the way your team was playing. It was a balanced offensive-defensive team and had a collection of players who were all playing for the front of the jersey and not the back.

I ever wonder, by the time Kobe leaves the Lakers, whether or not I would still hate the Lakers ... hmmmm .. YEAH ... why not!

Unless KING JAMES joins the Lakers lol
        ALL HAIL THE KING!

Except for Andrew Bogut who in this interview demonstrating that he's a sports star who would prefer to be with the working class than the celebrities. That's such a typical Aussie thing to say! C'mon Aussie C'mon!

I still get this feeling in my stomach like I was just kicked in the groin when I see the '02 Kings-Fakers series. That Robert Horry shot in game 4 was the luckiest thing ever. Not lucky that he made it but lucky that with no time remaining Divac happened to punch the ball out directly to Horry so he could in rhythm hit the three. It couldn't have been passed to him any better.
If the Kings had won that game they would have been up 3 to 1 with 2 out of the last 3 games in Sac. The series would have been over.

Needless to say, I hate the Lakers with a passion. My all time top 5 hated Lakers:
              1) Kobe- I can't stand the way he throws his arms up in the air and yells when he goes into the lane- watch for it- he does it about 1-2 times a game
              2) Rick Fox- what a punk, when he went after Doug Christie and Doug and his wife took him down, that was one of my all time favorite sports related moments
              3) "Big Shot" Robert Horry- the biggest trash money player in the history of sports- could be the worst player on the floor for 47 minutes and then he becomes Jordan for the last minute.
              4) Fisher- I've seen this guy do more flopping than anyone in league history. He won a game two years ago against the Warriors by pulling Monta Ellis down on top of him while making it look like Monta ran over him. Classic Fisher. I can't stand him
              5) Vujacic- when you give yourself the nickname The Machine but I can shoot better than you, well, then you are an idiot

Aw, I've got my heart broken in 2002. On that fluke by Robert Horry shot in which TNT replayed over and over again, I felt my heart being torn to pieces each time.

                Too much pain.

The worst part about that shot is that we have to watch it every year when playoffs start. They always show some of the 'great moments' in NBA history and that one always shows up.

U guys can diss the Lakers all u want but show some respect for Robert Horry aka "Big Shot Rob".
No one can deny that if it wasn't for his heroics not only the Lakers, but also the Rockets and Spurs might not have won those championships as well.

                        Notable playoff clutch shots:

                        1) May 22, 1995 | Western Conference Finals Game 1 | Houston Rockets at San Antonio Spurs
Horry nailed a jumper with 6.5 seconds left to give Houston a 94–93 win over San Antonio in front of over 35,000 at the Alamodome.

                        2) June 11, 1995 | NBA Finals Game 3 | Orlando Magic at Houston Rockets
With the score tied with 14 seconds left and the shot clock winding down, Hakeem Olajuwon kicked a pass out to Horry, who launched a three over Orlando's Horace Grant, propelling the Rockets to a 106–103 victory and a 3–0 series lead on the way to a sweep and back-to-back NBA titles.

                        3) May 6, 1997 | Western Conference Semifinals Game 2 | Los Angeles Lakers at Utah Jazz
Horry drained all seven of his three-point shots. However, this proved to be not enough as the Lakers lost Game 2 103–101 and ultimately the series 4–1.

                        4) June 10, 2001 | NBA Finals Game 3 | Los Angeles Lakers at Philadelphia 76ers
With the series tied at 1–1, the Sixers were within one point with under a minute to play and with Shaquille O'Neal on the bench having fouled out for the Lakers. Brian Shaw found Horry in the corner and he drilled the three with 47.1 seconds left to give the Lakers what proved to be an insurmountable four-point lead. Horry, who had been a 44% free throw shooter in the postseason thus far, also made 4-4 free throws in the final minute to seal the win. The Sixers never recovered.

                        5) April 28, 2002 | Western Conference First Round Game 3 | Los Angeles Lakers at Portland Trail Blazers
Down by two with 10.2 seconds left, Kobe Bryant drove on Ruben Patterson and kicked the ball to Horry, who hit a game-winning three.

                        6) May 26, 2002 | Western Conference Finals Game 4 | Sacramento Kings at Los Angeles Lakers
The Kings led 99–97 with two seconds left when center Vlade Divac knocked the ball out of the paint after Shaquille O'Neal missed a putback layup. The ball came to Horry, who launched a game-winning three-pointer as time expired to give the Lakers a 100–99 victory. Instead of going back to Sacramento down 1-3, the shot tied the series at 2-2 and allowed the Lakers to defeat the Kings in 7 games on their way to a third straight championship.

                        7) June 19, 2005 | NBA Finals Game 5 | San Antonio Spurs at Detroit Pistons
Horry inbounded the ball to Manu Ginóbili who was cornered by two Pistons defenders. Ginobili returned the ball to Horry on the left wing, who then hit a three-pointer with 5.9 seconds left to give the San Antonio Spurs a 96–95 victory and a 3–2 series lead heading into Game 6. Horry scored 21 points combined, in the fourth quarter and overtime to carry the struggling Spurs.

                        8) April 30, 2007 | Western Conference First Round Game 4 | San Antonio Spurs at Denver Nuggets
The Spurs led by one with 30 seconds left when Horry hit a game-securing three-point shot, handing the Spurs their fifth straight playoff victory in Denver.

Forget you, dude. Times change. What used to be traveling is now crab stepping. What used to be palming is now crossing over. What used to be charging is now attempting a shot. Total Orwell, man.
