  • Del Negro ready to carry Clippers back to NBA success after woeful years

The newly hired head-coach of the Los Angeles Clippers has vowed to make the team competitive in the next season of the National Basketball Association (NBA).
Former Chicago Bulls head-coach Vinny del Negro said he will instill back the culture of success to the Clippers who suffered dismal showing the past NBA seasons.
Del Negro who was fired by the Bulls in past NBA season for their bad showing at the playoff the past NBA season.
The former Bulls coach the team the past two seasons carried them to the playoffs in his tenure with the team.
Now that he gets the chance to coach the Clippers he vowed to bring back success and winning attitude to the team once the new season of the NBA ushers in.
The past NBA season the team 29-53 under former head coach Mike Dunleavy and interim replacement Kim Hughes.
The team currently has five players under contract; along with first-round draft picks forward Al-Farouq Aminu and guard Eric Bledsoe.
Among the Clippers' rostered players, only veteran guard Baron Davis and center Chris Kaman are over the age of 21.
Despite having a relatively modest line-up the past NBA season the Clippers do not have the luck to make to the playoffs.
The new coach of the Clippers said it is now easy to transform the team into a winning franchise but he will do his best to make them competitive and reach the playoffs in his first year with them.
He hoped Davis, Kaman and Clippers sensational rookie power-forward Blake Griffin will play big for the team for them to have a success in the next NBA season.
Davis, the eldest member of the team alongside Kaman could provide firepower from the point-guard and center position for the team.
Griffin for his part could provide firepower under the basket and youth for the team.
Now that Del Negro is the coach of the team countless Clippers fans around the world are now hoping that he can bring back success to the team. Buy cheap NBA tickets to support your favorite team in next NBA season.

I've been hearing this so called rebuilding since 2002 when they got Andre Miller in exchange for Darius Miles.... Any ways, I get a lot of feedback from LA Clippers fans (Yes, they have fans from their San Diego days) and collectively, they all want a new owner.

I forgot that the Clippers were a playoff team from 2006-2007. That would have been the definition of their success at that time as suggested by the article.

Mike Dunleavy Sr. and the Los Angeles Clippers

Former Los Angeles Clippers and General Manager Mike Dunleavy Sr. has filed fraud charges against the Los Angeles Clippers claiming that the Organization owes him $22 Million on the 4th of his 5th year as stipulated on the duration of the contract.

Los Angeles Clippers owner Donald Sterling and the Organization had filed counter charges of fraud against Dunleavy Sr. on reasons that "Dunleavy's signing was misleading and Dunleavy had never fulfilled his duty properly to claim the specified amount"

              It gets ugly.

The Clippers will never ever achieve success with this kind of mess. Quo Vadis Clippers?

I believe it is on the ownership. Los Angeles Clippers fans had always wished for a new Organization to take over the franchise.

They have good players. Chris Kaman is a reliable big man. If Blake Griffin is healthy, he's a big help for Chris manning the paint.

Over the years they had good players, but eventually left for a better organization. You never hear any kind words from former Clippers players like Livingston, Richardson and Brand.

I swear, there is something wrong with the management on how they manage the team. They have been "rebuilding" since out of San Diego.

Not so. On the span of 2005-2007 the Clippers had better success than the Lakers.

Moving on, the Los Angeles Clippers still have a good starting line-up.

They should make it to the play-offs this coming season. Blake is healthy, Chris has a good season last year and he made it to the all-star selection.

That I do not know, the WEST is a tough conference. Oklahoma City had 50 wins and that was only good enough for 8th seed for the playoffs. Vinnie Del Negro is up for a great challenge next year.
