  • Kings could not make a comeback in the game after trailing by double digits in the first quarter where we let Houston score 35 points. We got on striking distance w/ 5 mins left with Houston up 85-78, but Rockets pulled away due to their clutch shooting.

Our lack of defense dug us a hole in the first and defense could not hold come crunch time.

Now we just have to get on the phone to our respective GMs haha

      • Kings fell to the Grizzlies tonight despite Reggie Evans' hulk night of 17pts and 20rebs. We really can't reason out that Cousins was out tonight as we could done better but the defense was terrible in the first half.

        • Cousins will be out atleast two more games because of a nasty virus.

But here's a nice throwback jersey that will be suited up soon. Rochester Royals color, a tribute to the days of Red Holzman, Arnie Risen, Bob Davies, Bobby Wanzer, Jack Coleman and Jack Twyman.

            • Finally a win and that got us 1 game out of .500. Rudy Gay closing out the game in style while props to Nik Stauskas for getting his shooting back. JT and Evans got physical inside and it allowed us to survive Utah's bigmen.

              • Coach Michael Malone is out. A replacement will be named soon but according to reports, Kings have reached out to the retired Rick Adelman.

The end game coaching did Malone in, but he has done well for this season in stringing a couple of wins.

                  • Rumor has it your Kings are after Deron Williams. I think this would be a fantastic move, and could be the one that puts you over the hump. Collison is a great player but Deron is still one of the best true point guards in the league, and a veteran to lead what is still a fairly young team. I'm glad you guys didn't get Rondo. He may work in Dallas because Dirk and the other veterans know how to compensate for his off-the-mark passes and adjust, but he would have completely screwed up your offense. A lot of Rondo stans haven't watched him play a full game, and only go by the box score. A lot of the things he did that got swept under the rug in Boston will come out in Dallas because of the spotlight that will be on him. If he tries to show off and pretend to be a streetball player with his limited streetball skills, he will be called out on it. If he steals rebounds from teammates or gambles for the steal rather than playing defense enough times, he will be called out on it. This trade could very well end up costing Dallas a chance at a championship this season, but at the end of the day they didn't give up a ton to get him and his contract is up in July so if his game is exposed, they won't be left holding the bag for his contract. Plus they're a veteran team who is trying to squeeze as much out of Dirk as possible before he rides off into the sunset, as opposed to your Kings which are a young team trying to become a rising contender.

Deron on the other hand is not only a great offensive player in his own right but is also a true point guard who would find Rudy and all of the other Kings players in the best spots for them to succeed and would run a legitimate half-court offense. If I were in your team's shoes, I'd do that deal in a heartbeat as long as you don't have to give up any legitimate pieces. Brooklyn's trying to unload him on somebody so you could get him and another young piece or draft pick just for taking his salary. You might even be able to force them to take Sessions and/or Landry, which would help offset his huge salary some. Small price to pay to me to pick up what is still one of the best point guards in the league on a team that desperately needs one.

It's true, Kings want an upgrade for Collison after a quarter of the season and the GM recommended Deron Williams, who is open for trading. We made inquiries back in 2011 for Deron but Utah didn't entertain trade scenarios involving Tyreke Evans.

Either ways, the trade has stalled with the Nets not willing to give up Plumlee for our package involving Collision, Williams, Sessions and picks.

                      • Yeah you guys will probably have to get a third team involved because I highly doubt Brooklyn gives up one of the few young pieces they feel they have. What about involving Charlotte and trying to get a guy like Biyombo? Young, expiring at the end of the year, blocks a good amount of shots, and he's barely playing in Charlotte. Brooklyn could trade say Lopez or JJ and a pick to Charlotte for Lance, take back a bad contract on top of it, and you guys get Biyombo for Derrick Williams or a pick or something.

That could work with CHA who are trying to unload guys like Taylor and Biyombo. Since we're dead last on shot-blocking, any blocks by Biyombo would help us.

                          • Finally a win thanks to Cousins lifting us up. Glad that the team woke up in the second half but the team structure is in disarray and the bench is even performing worst compared to three weeks ago.

                              • Cousins will most likely demand a trade or leave this pathetic franchise. Good for him, he has to be in a better, winning, environment and not this losing franchise.
