We host the Dallas Mavericks tonight. Kings have the advantage when it comes to being rested as the Mavs fought a very grueling game against Denver last night. Having a strong first quarter with a scoring blitz will set the momentum.

In March, we had a defined rotation, but as April rolled around, Keith Smart is experimenting once again. For example, Demarcus Cousins who only got 9 minutes in the past game against the Mavericks.Sacramento Kings

The Kings putting up their effort a tad late as they fell 108-101 against the San Antonio Spurs. Kings only scored a season low 13 points in the first quarter. The offense woke up in the following quarters but the Spurs could match our offense with their efficiency. Demarcus Cousins playing in 29 minutes had a double double of 19 points and 12 rebounds. Jason Thompson with 18 points.
Marcus Thornton, Toney Douglas and Jimmer Fredette put up the fight when our starting back-court was very tentative.Sacramento Kings

Kings losing by a lot tonight against the Houston Rockets 121-100 as the latter kicks into playoff mode. Rockets blasted off in the first quarter when they ended the first 33-24. Rockets outscored the Kings in every quarter following that. Cole Aldrich notched his first double double in a Kings jersey with 12 points and 12 rebounds. Travis Outlaw scored a team high 15 points.Sacramento Kings

Sacramento Kings 95 Oklahoma City Thunder 104
Keith Smart pulled the plug and notched this one a lost cause when the Thunder built a 14 point lead by the end of the first quarter. Although he could have given Evans more of a dry run. Still, Travis Outlaw scored 15 points much like the Rockets game the night before. Cole Aldrich with his second consecutive double double with 12 points and 13 rebounds tonight.
James Johnson is done in Sacramento or Seattle for that matter. Smart has been utilizing a 10 man crew for the past five games but nowhere near a rotation, fix wise.Sacramento Kings

Last game of the season and perhaps the last game of the Sacramento Kings in Sacramento. Clippers are fighting for home court advantage in the playoffs. A win will give the Clippers the third seed in the playoffs, provided that the Denver Nuggets lose at home against the lowly Phoenix Suns (unlikely). But if the Nuggets beat the Suns at home, Clippers will get the 4th seed.Sacramento Kings

The Sacramento Kings dropping a close in their final season game or perhaps the final game in Sacramento 112-108.
Demarcus Cousins who may end up in Seattle had his best game for the home fans with a monster double double of 36 points and 22 rebounds on 14-24 shooting. Travis Outlaw had another good outing from the bench with 17 points.
Sacramento will know next week about the future of the franchise.Sacramento Kings

Well we played a great last game (hopefully not last forever) and we tried our best against a top team in the West. Cousins with a monster game. Thornton and Outlaw played well too. Hopefully next season we finish in the 30-win category.
I have my hopes high we stay in Sacramento. No matter what happens I'll always love the SACRAMENTO Kings.sigpic
