I think everybody knows that you just summed up Mike Brown's entire playbook (except those journalists who voted him as Coach of Year some time ago). However I think his biggest FAILURE is just the opposite: not asking LeBron to take control enough. LeBron has much better supporting cast than he had in 2007 when he single-handedly destroyed the Pistons. But whereas back then he had heart, now he just has ego, and Mike Brown is to be blamed. Sure, we all know his career depends on LeBron but being too nice to your superstar can have this effect.

Go to Chicago, Lebron. Better supporting cast, and you can even pick a coach. New York is going to be a mistake for his career--- at least if he wants to get those rings!

A reason more for not re-signing with Cavs?

          Unconfirmed rumour:

Delonte West Lebron James Mom Affair – Recent rumors have stated that one of the reasons why Lebron is set to leave Cleveland is because his mom and teammate Delonte West have been involved in a romantic relationship. While rumors like this have run rampant in the past, there does not seem to be any correlating evidence behind the claims, other than a few (likely false) testimonials from people that are described as “inside sources.”

“My uncle is the general contractor at the Q and has been for the last 7 years. He is good friends with a lot of guys at the Q including some of the bigger boys in the organization and knows Gilbert personally. I was just told from my brother that a very reliable source informed my uncle that Delonte has been banging Gloria James for some time now. Somehow I guess Lebron found out before game four and it has destroyed our chemistry and divided our team. This is no joke, the only player worse then Lebron has been Delonte. I am not making this up, I wish it wasn’t true but it happened. Wait and see if Lebron stays you will not see Delonte in a cavs uni again.”

The rumor has spread quickly across the Internet. Representatives for Lebron James and Delonte West have yet to comment on the wild story that recently made its way to the Internet. Similar stories have surfaced in the past, including one that stated that Joe Horn had been seeing Willie Roaf’s wife, or that Jeff McInnis had been seeing Phil Ford’s wife. This seems like it could be the case of a popular rumor that has made its way around again. I wouldn’t believe this rumor until it has is a little more proof to back up the speculation that is already out there.

Chicago is in a position to offer LeBron James a Max contract wherein they must let Brad Miller ($12,250,000) walk away while the contracts of Jerome James ($6,600,000), Tim Thomas ($4,866,600), Lindsey Hunter ($1,306,455), Acie Law ($2,216,160) and Joe Alexander ($2,583,360) are all officially off the books.

They could re-sign Hakim Warrick ($3,000,000) though for a better supporting cast.

Imo, the best option for LBJ would be to stay either with the Cavs or go to the Bulls if his main concern is winning an NBA championship since the Cavs do have a chance to sign a big player if they release O'Neal. Bulls have a good core group of players as well.

Oh man... I'm touched, I really am. Yep the Ohio governor too. Folks who've never been to Cleveland will never understand what LeBron means to the city. I'm completely serious...

This is getting really crazy! There are so many professional people creating commercials, websites and magazines for LeBron. I've never seen anything like this before in my life for any sport or any celebrity.

LeBron James is the best player on the planet. He can take almost any team to the play-offs if he joins, but it's not like he's guaranteed to win a Championship, as Cavs fans have noticed.

Is this about his celebrity and the money he can bring to a franchise by selling tickets or is it about winning a Championship?
"I really like the attitudes of eagles. They never give up. When they grab a fish or something else, they never let it go. It doesn't matter. In a book, they write they find a skeleton of [an] eagle and there is no fish. It means that the fish beat him and killed him, but he didn't let go." -- Donatas Motiejunas
