That's what happened when you chant "Viva Fidel" a few times while you're being pulled over in Miami

He helped beat the US and he has a flashy car. Yeah, I'd go after him if I was a pissed off, crooked cop.

getting arrested for driving too fast I can understand, but for driving too slow, that's for old guys!
            Actually he could be:
            A) Sleeping
            B) Texting
            C) Watching porno and jacking off (RIP Eddie Griffin)

Hum, where did I jump to a conclusion? I was just explaining that driving to slow can get you a ticket. Not listening to cops can get you arrested (much less beaten - by which being Puerto Rican doesn't help that situation).

              Interesting enough, you go on:

Hmmm....sounds like someone jumped to a conclusion.

LOL. I don't see any bruises. I guess it takes a whole bunch of Cubans to take on one Puerto Rican.

There is an obvious logical problem with this explanation...

(OT: Did Eddie recive a Darwin award for this?)

Maybe he likes driving laid back ("with his mind on his money, and his money on his mind")?

Lol. I see your point. I should have stated failure to obey the officer, which led to the arrest.

                      Better?

                        Sorry for nitpicking

I swear, debating with you is like playing a shell game. You'll throw your two cents in on a subject and then when somebody checks you on it you give the contrarian flip. That little bit about him "acting like a child" sounds like you were CONCLUDING that Arroyo's behavior led to his beating, no? That statement isn't neutral; you're characterizing his behavior without actually knowing what took place.

Me jumping to conclusions? How is a phrase using conditional verbs like "could have very well" or "could've triggered" considered jumping to conclusions when I'm merely offering possibilities? No where in my statement did I definitively say this-led-to-that in Carlos' situation.

Good for you if Officer Friendly came to your rescue, but I've had enough experiences with cops and their mountain size egos to know that perhaps Carlos experienced the "shut up and get your hands behind your back!" variety of cops that night.

Thank you (usually told I have no sense - I mean cents).

Kinda. I was going back between the "Arroyo Incident" and people's general behavior with cops that get them in trouble. Actually, I was being sarcastic (see name) and just messing around, didn't know you made this your own personal Rodney King jihad (btw, that's sarcasm, nah feel free to take the comment serious and rip it a part).

                            See above.

Fair enough, and if I did the same thing I could very well maybe - just maybe - get a unicorn. I guess throwing in all these "could haves" really added to the convo. Thank you.

Hum, this isn't jumping to any conclusions on how I feel about cops?!? I don't want you to accuse me of falsly stating that (you did put "if").

I guess it's ok to jump to conclusions on how I feel about cops.

BTW, you sound guilty. I'm sure you had it coming (Am I joking? Am it not?).
