Actually, he plays the 4 and the 5, has started at both. He played the 5 at Wake Forest, but moved to the 4 when he played with The Admiral. Stills plays both positions today, though is listed as a 4 in NBA All-Star balots.

For instance some people have Dirk listed at the 3, but he mainly plays the 4. He also has played the 5.
