    Greeks, sleep well

In a more serious note, anyone thinking South Sudan is easy to play against is terribly wrong. That team plays with wild energy and extreme physicality. Refs allowed brutal contact, it's not easy to adjust to that kind of physicality.

Serbia will win but with 2pt instead of 3prs difference.

Edit:Thanks a lot for not tanking!
Come on now, did you really think Kari Pesic, Bogdan or Jokic would tank a game?

I know it’s not easy to win against such a team which has home court advantage, is highly energetic, is an underdog, and shoots a lot of threes.

They were also good last year in the World Cup.

We should have lost to SSD, but we already knew that.

Why? Would you prefer Germany instead of Australia?

Your question is on point. Germany is an opponent to avoid, much harder than Australia.
Still I would pick that part of the draw and avoid the team USA until the final.
This position ends our dreams to reach the final.

You can still fight for bronze medal, though.
Choosing Germany, you will probably still avoid USA all the way since you risk your participation to the SFs

The plays that were able to find with Greece and the way they fought against Canada were extraordinary. Besides Australia was obvious that they used the clock in the last (at least) 90 seconds with greece , when they realized that there's no need to push for a win, so they can assure the 10pts differential. If only they could pull that upset against Canada.
Spain deserved a spot more than Brazil, for sure. But that's the luck of the draw, we can't do anything about that.

Spain over Australia or Greece, I don't think so. We made too many mistakes and didn't know how to close games properly.

If I am not mistaken. There was a draw which determined that Serbia played USA in the semis. That was after the game against SSD.
Serbia could either loose and play Germany, or win and play Australia. The rest was not up to Serbia.

One could also argue that Greece lost to Spain by 7 because they went for the victory. Otherwise it would have been 3. Same is true for Greece and Canada. And perhaps if Australia tried more, they would have lost by 10. How about Canada having already qualified for the top 8 when they played Spain? There’s too many factors to cherry pick.

I argued before that the group was a marathon and that Greece didn’t actually loose a game until the final whistle is blown.

Greece came back twice against Canada and Spain. Τhat’s what has secured the team a spot in the top 8. Those minor losses served as a qualification for a KO game against Australia. With their back against the wall, Greece managed to beat Australia with the necessary margin.

I like this battle hardened Greece. Prefer to qualify like this rather than with 3 victories. Going out against the World Champion will leave no one disappointed about the team’s performance as a whole.

                        I agree, but still
That was just my opinion and I belive that we can beat every other team on this torunament except the USA team.

I am kind of hoping we will up our game, have better % from the 3pts line. Also Serbia in the past years was playing better in the semifinals than in the finals, but let's see.

                        Australia is also tough.

Now rooting for Serbia & Greece.

Does anyone want to play Among Us with me? I'm bored playing alone.
