From the looks of it, the Canadians are playing more of a US-style (heavy isolation plays, dribble drives to the basket, relying on individual performances, etc.) of basketball than the US is. If anyone has noticed, Kerr and his staff have added a few wrinkles to the US offense in terms of set plays and ball movement. Yes, the US is still heavily reliant on individual plays, but compared to 2016, they're playing like a Luca Banchi coached squad.

Interesting stat from Serbia-USA game, in 31 minutes with Jokic on the floor the score was 81-81, in 9 minutes without Jokic on the floor USA made 29-3 run. Enough said. Pesic will have to make adjustments, starting from Puerto Rico game. There can't be one single minute without Jokic or Bogdanovic on the floor. Serbia is looking like Denver Nuggets, great starting lineup/terrible bench production. This is something to keep an eye on going forward. This is the same team that won silver last year without Jokic, but Pesic really has to get in their heads to be aware that Jokic alone won't be enough for medal.
USA, Canada and Germany are looking like medal contenders at this moment.

Even then, you should be warned that since 2004 Spain has won all elimination games in the Olympics unless the other team was USA. Traditions are meant to be broken at some point, but they exist for a reason.

Pity the brain fart in the last minute against Australia because we had secured the 3rd spot in the group and a matchup with Germany. You'll now get Greece instead.

Disagree. Germany is Australia+. You had a much better showing against Australia than us. Don't minimise your achievements. You were blowing them out by 19 at one point. You got this.
The actual point is federations' choice about the naturalized player. Walkup has his important role at oly, but is he what this teams is in need? not even close.
