I have some comments about the USA team. It seems that this USA team is a jump shoting team. The old strategy with the USA was to clog the lane and limit them to jumpers. That doesn't work with this team. The Americans are content with shooting 30 3pts a game. USA has allowed its opponets to score. Liths scored 95pts, Argentina 97, Australia 86 this is an average of 92.6 points a game. The USA allows teams to score a great ammount.

For the sake of neutral spectators I would like a balanced match, but it wouldn't be realistic to expect it.

I predict a USA victory by 20 or more points.
    You were right!

Well, we don't pack the lane and other teams don't have much trouble getting open threes against us

True that opponents have to worry a lot about our penetration (but not much about our post game), but other teams also have a more structured offense than us and with enough weapons I think they can get open threes if they want.

Maybe in 2016 we run the Grinnell system.

I expected a blowout and a boring game and it was both... All other games were much more interesting but also very predictable results. No big surprises yet in this olympic tournament, which is actually quite boring...

Kobe Bryant: Better late than never!

Kobe Byrant finally shows up for Team USA and ironically helps Lebron get his triple double.

I'm pleasantly surprised with how Australia is playing well throughout this game.. If they manage to lose by less than 20 that would really be an accomplishment for them!

Ha-ha: 11:0 for Aussies. You play careless, you live with consequences.

Why do you think I worry? It just messes up game flow and bit boring to watch, when every little touch is whistled.
Australia is trying to play hard, but they play SO crappy, that USA is not even trying, just jacking up threes.

This game is boring...USA jacking up 3s like always, Australia passing and missing layups, and half the game is foul shots.
