Originally posted by JGX View PostNo justification for touching the ref, ever. There was a lot of bumping too after the late uncalled penalty, I couldn't find a good video.
Agreed. The attitude of assaulting the referees is typical from a team that was expected to do big things and simply failed, but i think i've seen that in many sports with ALL favorites when they fail hard. No one is justifying the action, just explaining why they were mad. Unfortunately, frustration did the rest.

What Spain did after the against Honduras was dissapointing to say the least, but its really hard to top what the US basketball team did back in the '72 Olympics as far as whining goes.Originally posted by J-Martthe land of the free and the home of the brave is the greatest joke I've ever heard. There is no such thing as liberty and the american dream is more overrated than Japeth Aguilar was when u guys found he was a pinoy

Originally posted by sinobball View PostIf this is the case then something is wrong. I think he has some confidence issues in the NBA though. Maybe a new league, a different environment will suit him better but I heard he's not interested in Europe. If nobody from the NBA picks him up after the Olympics (somebody should considering his performance), he'll almost certainly play in China.
To be fair, when I watched him in NJ he really had a few brilliant games, and one mid-season stretch where it looked like he had finally grown into a solid rotation player. Maybe a different environment would suit him (not Dallas, which looked like a wasted year), but his only consistently good play ever has been for the Chinese national team.
Any idea why he doesn't want to play in Europe?
