Wow where did that come from? JGX was just joking about how several Lithuanian fans were talking about getting drunk before and during the game with Puerto Rico.
Anyway on to the game, I think we're going to be dealing with another game that's settled late in the 4th quarter I'm leaning Lithuania by 5 but nothing would surprise me at this point.
Yeah, Shawshank got lost in translation (not that's a movie mash-up I'd love to see!).
DR looked terrible in the first half against Macedonia and quite pleasant to watch, also awesome, in the second. So it's really hard to make any predictions, especially since our NT ain't that stable also. Let's just hope both teams will play well and show some haxor skillz with that orange ball. Or, you know, maybe let's hope Lithuania plays great and leaves DR to wallow in their cloud of dust.
And now to the important part. Was too lazy today to go to the store, so no beer. Still got some brandy supplies (had only one drink of it yesterday after that glorious and f*&^(king intense game against PR). I think I'll save alcohol for the games this time, maybe read a book while I wait.
In order for us to win today, we really have to give 100%. And by that I mean: rebound well, hustle for every lose ball and not allow second chance opportunities. But anything's possible at this point in the tournament.
P.S. I'm getting lots of water before the game. It's 100º F where I live. Hopefully I won't die of water intoxication .
You want drinking update?
I started the day with 2 ibrufens.
Counted all beer cans from yesterday - around 20 and tip of vodka, round 50 fags smoked and decided it is not worth it.
I mean,I did not know who won after i woke up,so had to check web for results, let alone game play or stats.
On the other side I was quite happy with Lithuanian win, twice I assume.
So one extra happiness gratis
But tomorrow is totally different ball game
And let that be a lesson to you all. Nobody beats Zalgiris 17 times in a row.
Lithuanians please post drinking updates so we know you're okay
We felines prefer milkshakes.
They're healthier!
As far as the game is concerned, I think the Lithuanian team will be motivated to get it done today so that they can leave Venezuela for a more temperate climate. I'm actually surprised that the fellows have lasted this long in the heat.
