How was the right to organize the tournament "stolen"? Doesn't it go to the high bidder?

Huh?! The Venezuelan team should be barred by FIBA from international competitions for a few years if that's the case.

I need more examples. For investigative purposes, of course.

Yeah, if he doesn't wanna portray himself as a sore loser, or does he?

P.S. Looks like we'll have some crab soup tonight .

Anyway, this is kind of a pay-back for the (in our perspective) stolen right to organize this tournament, tanks interrupting our team's training and the way Musselman and Vasquez acted after the last game.

I just hope Hugo doesn't decide to do anything drastic.

I'm surprised by the result, but certainly not shocked. The Nigerians truly have skill, strategy, and a motivation to win. A couple of breaks here or there in the Venezuela game and they would've won the group. This result is great for the development of international basketball. It demonstrates that the "power" teams can no longer show-up and expect to dominate. More and more, parity of talent is starting to create balance which makes for exciting basketball. For the record, this isn't the first time Lithuania has stumbled versus an African side. An "A" side squad lost to Senegal six years ago at a tournament in France, so the precident has already been set.

Who do you guys think would be a more lenient opponent, Greece or Puerto Rico? I think Greece - we beat them in all tournament games since 2007. As for Puerto Rico, we're not familiar with their playing style.

Even Skinn looked kinda surprised that Kalnietis doesn't foul him, so just kept the ball and that's all. A big win for them anyways. Congrats
You need a lot of experience to react properly and with a clear head on those occations and obviously the Nigerians didnt have that.I didnt accuse them.I ve just point the obvious for me behind my laptop...Congrats again to them and for you cu later

Irrelevant. I really don't care where they were born. They were the Nigerian team, that's all that matters, and the Lithuanian team play abominably.
