Venezuela's problems are the lack of depth and the fact that they are undersized inside the paint. Echenique is only 2.02 and Graterol is 2.04. They lack post game but both of them, especially Echenique, can run the floor very well and play pick and roll. I followed Venezuela last year at FIBA Americas and i liked a lot their up tempo game. This kind of game is what they play and they can play it very well. Against strong defences and low tempo teams, they are facing difficulties.

I would include Delininkaitis as well. He didn't deliver in Eurobasket 2011 and his season in Žalgiris is literally horrible. Lipkevičius has bigger role in Žalgiris this season...

It's interesting that Motiejūnas will be camping in Houston. He'll get some attention from media and local fans. Unless Kemzura will cut him off even sooner

I saw some very racist comments of Lithuanian fans about Brazilian people and cities in a Lithuanian basketball website when I was searching for that news of last month... very very poor, we have excellent places, courts, security hotels to receive all basketball teams of olympics if necessary, people need stop to think they are offending not just the people who came here from Africa, but all the people from Europe, we have much europeans descendant living here which came here in last 300 years, as much as various european crountries! people need to study more! just saying!
