well playing in Helios would make Marino Baždarić average 30 ppg

no diss, but I think Croatia has enough guards capable of more than Troha can offer. He is that Boris Gnjidić/Saša Dončič type of guy... valuable, but imo would get lost when playing at higher level.
if we're at Helios already healthy Mance would be a better choice imho... but still nothing for the Croats to look forward to imo...

I would use Troha strictly as a shooter specialist not as a ful time player, when the other team goes to zone, i would put him in for 10mins just to break them.

Sure Croats have better players then him but i don't think they have a SG with a better 3pt shot and a faster shot for that matter, sure Baždarič is better thats why i would take Troha as the 3rd SG, his defense is not bad too, he reads the passing lines very well and is very aggressive and his conditioning is the best i have ever seen, i mean they guy runs for 30mins strait and still makes off balance shots and a very good clip.

Ofcourse the cro NT may go with a younger guy from Zagreb but i just think its a shame that Troha never made it close to the Cro NT.

          well thank you
I'm kind of hoping for that as well..
we played Iran yesterday and won 101-79

          Hrvatska - Iran 101:79 (25:16, 27:14, 21:17, 28:32)
          Suci: Dožai, Anzulović, Štrok
          Hrvatska: Ukić 10, Kus 13 (4 as), Popović 20 (4 as, trica 6/6), Longin 3, Prkačin 13 (dvica 6/7), Tomas, Rudež, Nicević 14 (5 sk, dvica 6/8), Markota 10, Banić 10, Bagarić 6, Tomić 2.
          Iran: Rezaee 2, Amini 2, Davari 3, Kamrany 12, Akbari, Zandi, Afagh 11, S’Bnejad 2, Sahakian 6, Kardoust 3, Nikkhah 23, Ehadadi 15

Repeša was expelled at the beginning of fourth quarter for swearing on reff..
Planinić and Rozić didn't play because of injuries. Lončar and Barać didn't play 'cause they were left out of the squad..
Repeša probably left them out 'cause he wanted to see Tomić and Rudež after they came back..
I'm quite sure they'll be out against Aussies today and Lončar and Barać in the team..

                    Popović on fire..
he's been shooting something like over 70% three pointers in last three prep games (including this one)..
i just hope he won't burn out before the qualies..
although he gave quite an interesting interview to SN few days ago saying something Spahija once said to him. he said: the good form of the player doesn't exists, if the form exists that would mean that Jordan was in good form his entire career..

Is Popovic playing PG or SG now in those friendly games?

I don't really know, I didn't have an opportunity to watch any of prep games so far..
since Planinic is injured I would say he is playing both during the games..
