    He was MVP of the final game, but the best USA player has been faried. He deserved this award more.

        Faried. He was the heart of Team USA and his constant effort made up for all of the lazy play of the rest of the team minus Anthony Davis.

              Irving has been more of a relative liability for most of the tournament than a MVP. Agree on Faried.

                  The same here. not saying the US would have failed without him, but Faried really carried the US on for most of the tournament.

                  PS. Adding a poll, so that we can determine the MVP of WC by IBN users

                    Noticed that FIBA often awards the final's best as the tournament MVP.
                    This was the case of Irving.
                    Faried MVP, imo.

                      I can understand FIBA going by the best player in the Final but Irving did it against a team that really didn't even show up whereas Faried did it against every team they played against.

                      The choice was especially poor this time in my opinion.
