Interestingly though by the end of the first round, some guards did step up and play well. Rubio, Barea, Calathes, even Barbosa. I think guards will play a bigger role in the knockout phase.
Certain teams better hope you're right about that if they want to advance.
First and second team: <Insert 10 USA players here>
No. Rose, Plumlee, DeRozan and Drummond have been very mediocore. Actually, even Davis have been worse (but very good anyway) than I excepted and there have been lot of better big men than him.
Not sure about there being better big men than Davis, but I'll admit I haven't payed as much attention to all other teams than I've payed attention to USA.
I know that Plumlee has been pretty good with that play time. I wouldn't call him mediocre. Okay 1-2 non USA players could be considered to be inserted into the all-star team, but still it's almost all USA players for me.

Yeah, it's just a different opinions. By the way, I haven't payed much attention to USA. Mainly because I think that their basketball is simply very boring. I know that I'm pretty alone with my opinion.

Yeah I really don't know why Plumlee was put on that team over other guys. I get that he worked hard but at the end of the day he's an extremely limited player.

No you aren't. I loved the USA teams of 2010 and even 2012 because they played like a team and if the score was ever close it wasn't due to stupidity.
This team though? Can't stand the way they play. They think it's an All Star game and that everybody just wants to take their picture. I love Davis and Faried though.
